A nice family resort, not commercialised but with just enough attractions to make a visit enjoyable. Great promenade, good shopping area. Shame that that part of the coast has stoney beaches rather than sand.

Lovely pier and it looks like a nice town but we were only in the area for one night. The beach is alright but it's mainly shingle and it didn't look ideal for swimming as there seemed to be quite a drop once people got into the water.
I'd like to visit again to do a bit more exploring.

A nice place for family trips or outings with your friends.
A nice place for family trips or outings with your friends. IMO it has a similar vibe to Brighton but with less crowds and traffic. It has a vibrant night life if you know where to look. Although from out of town, everywhere we went felt familiar and welcoming.
Plenty to do during the day and well situated if you want to venture off to Brighton/Hove for the day.

I am fond of Worthing and have been a number of times. If you like traditional seaside resorts this is ideal: overall well kept, some nice shops & restaurants, superb original pier. Choice of theatre entertainment. All less crowded than Brighton

I would not bother!!! Having lived there until a year ago. Very run down. Roads either rough & bumpy or potholes. Scruffy & unkept area. Looks like the council are not spending money to encourage visitors. Verges not cut & in places weeds growing out of the kerbs.
Will NOT come back!! Does not appeal in the slightest!

We were very impressed with the public transport very constant and very helpful bus drivers . Plenty of places to eat and drink . The only thing my Lady found a little bit concerning was in some of the vacant shops people sleeping in the door ways I appreciate they are obviously homeless but they all had mobile phones . Cigarettes and alcohol
The location is within staggering distance of the Seafront & Pier plus there's a smallish tree lined Park fronting the Hotel. Bearing in mind the Hotel has a Three Star Rating, attention to detail was evident - excellent restaurant with good menu presentation even for a 'lite bite', clean and comfortable room. Bearing in mind I had booked 'On the Run' it's not often I stay in a place on Business that I'd be happy taking my Wife back to for a leisurely weekend.
We had an excellent stay in this fantastic hotel. The location was perfect, very comfortable bedroom with the best en suite we have ever had- huge and very well equipped with a large walk in shower and a free standing bath. Lovely toiletries provided which added to the luxury! All staff were lovely, friendly and professional. Service was good and so was the food. We hope to return soon.
Nice and clean. Friendly welcome. Breakfast was nice - pleased to get both soya and dairy milk.
Shower good.
Was actually nice and quiet overnight compared to the hotels on the seafront - so this is a bonus!
A bit further from beach than I perhaps thought but still accessible to lots of areas.
I’ve stayed at The Chatsworth twice now whilst visiting friends in Worthing, I find it a nice little old traditional cozy hotel just opposite the sea. The location is perfect and the staff are very friendly. Highly recommend this hotel and the price is excellent
Spacious and stylish apartment, beautifully clean and comfortable and with parking. The location is perfect for exploring Worthing and all it has to offer. Can recommend Perch on the Pier for dinner.
