The attention to detail and well thought out design made our stay excellent. Little things like siting the tv in the best location and ensuring the tv wires were behind the wall made my partner very happy!! Fresh milk in a sealed glass bottle rather than a carton made me happy! The bed and bedding was good quality and very comfortable. The Owner couldn't have been more helpful, offering fantastic customer service. We will definitely return.

We loved the historical attractions and some of the architecture. Sadly there seems to be a lack of decent modernisation. There were a lot of street drinkers, drug takers and statement dogs that definitely has made me think twice about returning

Great place for anyone who loves history.
Great place for anyone who loves history. Particularly Medieval and English Civil War then of course there is the Elgar connection. Plenty of old buildings. Worth looking out for tours of the City and the Cathedral reasonably priced -the knowledge and enthusiasm of the guides are a credit to the city. The Cathedral is free to visit though donations encouraged -and King John's tomb is there.
The riverside walks are great, and always like seeing the swan sanctuary . Found prices for food and drink cheaper than where I live.
The historical sites of the City are largely central and relatively near to each other.

A lovely city, large enough to have everything we needed but small enough to walk round. Some beautiful historic buildings, great setting on the River Severn, easy access from the M5. The city has a superb range of pubs, from historic buildings to micropubs, a great location for beer enthusiasts..

I stay outside Worcester but don't come from area.
Some places can be expensive, too expensive. Takes time to find what is reasonable priced.
Lot of roadworks, traffic diversions - very annoying and could understand people not visiting or staying long because of this.
Lot of cafes, but almost all closed for business by early afternoon - bit of wilderness for such cafes in afternoon/evening.

I spent 1 night and 1 day here with a specific itinerary - the historic ghost walk, the cathedral, Greyfriars, Tudor museum.
Worcester is very easy to travel to by train and car and to get around. There are some fantastic historic buildings, cafes and pubs. I stayed at Browns at the Quay and ate there. I also had a delicious afternoon tea at G&Tea. A very enjoyable stay - will be back soon to see some other things!
The noise outside was really bad the windows are pointless it needs Secondary glazing there was people shouting outside for 11pm till 4 pm I didn’t not sleep the room was facing the main room I should of asked for a back room, plus all the pillows were lumpy and hard to get Comfortable, when I complained to the staff I did raise my voice and Cursed twice the staff asked if I had paid and told me to leave, I did phone them back and apologise for swearing it was my own fault for picking a hotel in the main
Difficult to be objective. I care a lot for the city of Worcester, and visit when I can. I always try to stay at The Severn View Hotel. Like the old building, the staff are great, the location is perfect, very central, right by the river and historic city centre. It has a busy bar, and sometimes the room I get is right above it. But the noise from downstairs ends at a reasonable time. The full English breakfasts are legendary. Looking forward to returning. Superb value for money.
Lovely old building in a great location , easy walking distance to the centre of Worcester.
Staff polite and very helpful . Breakfast was lovely , nice choice of continental, homemade granola was delicious, hot food freshly cooked as made to order but again was delicious. Car parking available but the size of car park isn’t big and access road to the hotel can get congested. The room was a bit dated.
Beautifully renovated historic house. It is tucked away so there is a sense of privacy. The room was sympathetically designed, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. It was a short walk from the main centre of Worcester, cafes and restaurants, cathedral and about 12 minutes walk from the cricket ground. The hosts were very responsive when we got in contact before our stay.
Ideal for Worcester and the surrounding area. lovely independent pub-hotel. Quirky! We had a lovely spacious, comfortable room. Breakfast was super and an evening meal with family members most enjoyable. will be staying again when visiting family and friends in the area. All of the staff members we encountered were welcoming and friendly.
Such a lovely hotel! We stayed in a beautifully decorated, small apartment with a view of the river. We were welcomed with a free glass of Prosecco on arrival. The bed was very comfy and the breakfast was delicious. We will definitely stay here again if we return to Worcester.
very welcoming ,beautiful view lovely ,comfortable bed even tho we was on a main road you couldn’t hear it at all the room was warm and cozy the landlord was very welcoming on arrival it’s a lovely hotel and will defo be back wen next in Worcester thank you
Very straightforward to find, on fairly major road out of Worcester; good parking. Friendly, efficient welcome. Amazing log fire. Real pub serving excellent, good-value dinner and perfectly cooked and presented breakfast. Room exceptionally fresh and clean.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Bed was very comfortable and clean linen. Position of hotel great for cathedral end of Worcester and near some lovely restaurants. Breakfast was ok although £12 for poached eggs and bacon a bit high.
Very nice hotel a short drive from Worcester and close to Malvern & Nat Trust & Eng Heritage attractions in Worcestershire. Ample free parking. Comfortable room and a nice pool & spa. Nice restaurant with a varied menu.
Everything. I was rather overwhelmed. Clean and comfortable and really much better than I had expected. I will certainly stay again and recommend The Crown as a place to stay in Worcester for others.
Excellent accommodation, spacious, clean, well equipped, very quiet area but close to city centre, will definitely stay again when visiting my head office, beats any hotel room in Worcester!!
Hotel and staff were exceptional. Nothing was a problem. They made us a dessert that was not on the menu. Breakfast was more than we could eat!
Highly recommend this hotel.
Location in the centre of Worcester made access to the cricket ground and the Cathedral easy. Although there was no breakfast provided we had a good lunch there on one day.
Very convenient location for Worcester city centre with decent sized car parking although it costs £5 a day. The hotel has a lift. Reasonable choice of food for breakfast.
Haven’t visited for 2 years due to COVID
but always my go to hotel for a work trip to Worcester
