The room was an absolute delight - I wish I could have spent more time there. I needed to be away early the following morning and the kitchen staff agreed to me having an early breakfast - which was delightful! Surely over and above client care!

Spotless, modern accommodation with kitchenette with coffee machine plus pods and teabags with milk in fridge. Very comfy bed and great to sleep on a mattress that isn't soft. Lovely rooftop terrace with outdoor seating. Great communication with Jackie re parking and access codes. Centrally located so you do expect some traffic noise especially if you have a front facing room, I was in Fuggle on the ground floor. Small SIP car park directly opposite or if you want covered parking then St Martin's Gate is a 6 min walk. Would recommend.

lovely clean room with nice decorative touches, comfy bed, easy use shower and a great little bar downstairs
Great place for anyone who loves history. Particularly Medieval and English Civil War then of course there is the Elgar connection. Plenty of old buildings. Worth looking out for tours of the City and the Cathedral reasonably priced -the knowledge and enthusiasm of the guides are a credit to the city. The Cathedral is free to visit though donations encouraged -and King John's tomb is there.
The riverside walks are great, and always like seeing the swan sanctuary . Found prices for food and drink cheaper than where I live.
The historical sites of the City are largely central and relatively near to each other.

A lovely city, large enough to have everything we needed but small enough to walk round. Some beautiful historic buildings, great setting on the River Severn, easy access from the M5. The city has a superb range of pubs, from historic buildings to micropubs, a great location for beer enthusiasts..

I stay outside Worcester but don't come from area.
Some places can be expensive, too expensive. Takes time to find what is reasonable priced.
Lot of roadworks, traffic diversions - very annoying and could understand people not visiting or staying long because of this.
Lot of cafes, but almost all closed for business by early afternoon - bit of wilderness for such cafes in afternoon/evening.

I spent 1 night and 1 day here with a specific itinerary - the historic ghost walk, the cathedral, Greyfriars, Tudor museum.
Worcester is very easy to travel to by train and car and to get around. There are some fantastic historic buildings, cafes and pubs. I stayed at Browns at the Quay and ate there. I also had a delicious afternoon tea at G&Tea. A very enjoyable stay - will be back soon to see some other things!

Worcester is a lovely place to visit the Hotel is situated right in the middle of all amenities. You are also opposite the train station that literally takes about 30 to 45 minutes to get in to Birmingham. Walks and eating establishments are the best choice lots to choose from .
Very convenient location, walkable into town and to the canal and onwards to the river path and Cathedral. The apartment was nicely decorated and the fully equipped kitchen was a dream to make most meals during our long-stay. Glad we had an assigned and free parking space too, as elsewhere is full up or expensive.
There were a few issues that came up as the apartment was new that the staff took care of right away and cheerfully.
We'll definitely return to the Commandery Vaults when we return to Worcester city.
We were a group of 6 (3 couples). We had a very enjoyable stay over 2 nights. The staff were helpful, obliging and friendly. The breakfast was very good with a wide range of dishes and choice. The rooms were well supplied and there was plenty of hot water. It was extremely good value for money and the hotel is within easy walking distance of the city centre and all its attractions. Worcester has such a lot to see and do and we had a really great time.
An excellent find. We were given a wonderfully friendly welcome and shown to our rooms which were more spacious and more comfortable than rooms in much larger and expensive hotels. The location was just what we needed - a quiet village setting and close to the Elgar Birthplace Museum. We will certainly stay here again on future Worcester trips.
Hotel was in a beautiful location, very convenient for business trips. Room was in need of a little bit of TLC, but was clean and tidy and the bed was very comfy. Breakfast was ok, wasn’t the biggest choice on offer but it was good for the money. Staff were very friendly and even kept reception open late for me arriving outside hours
I don't think you will get better value for money than this hotel. The rooms are comfortable and clean and everyone at the hotel is helpful and friendly. The food served in the pub and at breakfast is very good and you are on top of Worcester city centre with other local entertainment facilities are on your doorstep.
Generally I liked this hotel. We had a twin room and a double for 1. Both rooms were a good size and had great showers (the best I can recall in a hotel). The rooms were a good size and comfortable. The hotel was well positioned for Worcester town centre and access to the pubs, bars and cafes - and cathedral.
The room had an excellent view over the Severn and we enjoyed watching the large number of swans which swam up and down in front of our window. The accommodation was spacious and well furnished. Staff were friendly and very helpful. The hotel is in a good location for exploring the centre of Worcester
Really friendly staff in all areas. Received a very warm welcome and everything in the hotel is good quality. Breakfast was very good. The location is great with a lovely view on the river. Very peaceful as this is not near a traffic zone. Also very convenient for walking into the city centre.
Location was lovely and convenient while being in a quiet area. All staff were lovely and very accommodating throughout our stay, including allowing us to check in early after a long haul flight. Our room was clean, comfortable and cozy.
A beautiful little apartment, ideally placed for a stay in Worcester ! Very well equipped , lovely and clean !! Nice private enclosed garden area, off road parking . A real little gem and cheaper than most hotels in the area !
I liked the location of the hotel (Very handy) and it was pleasant to stay in such an historic Inn. By a happy accident, there was also an article in Worcester News when I as there on the history of the Crown Hotel.
Location was perfect, right on a Main Street in center of town, across the street from the train station. had lots of room to gather in secluded lobby areas.
