We liked Everything! Ten out of ten! The quaintness of the high street, and the hotel itself so quaint; the small & friendly bar and the breakfast room was just lovely. Staff in the bar and at breakfast were very friendly and made us feel so welcome. We also had a reserved parking space with our name on, on arrival. The courtyard rooms were very, very pretty from outside. Flowers in baskets etc. And Inside the room, absolutely everything you need, tea/coffee facilities, lovely Fan, hair dryer, iron, ironing board, etc. The Christopher has literally thought of everything you might need for a night or two! Flowers and lighting outside in the evening were so pretty. Quite remarkable. The beds were so comfortable, and the duvets and pillows were so lovely that we’re looking up where we can buy them!

The architectural beauty of Windsor Castle is worth seeing.
The architectural beauty of Windsor Castle is worth seeing. The Long Walk, 2 1/2 miles each way from the Castle, built in 1682. The famous crooked house in town. The Windsor Great Park (15,800 acres) and its 2 gardens within: Savill Garden (35 acres) and Valley Garden (2,500 acres). I ate at my 'go to when in doubt', Wetherspoon, The King and Castle across from the castle, great choices for vegetarians and vegans.

Windsor Castle is absolutely lovely and there are many great places to dine right outside as well. There is also no lack of great pubs! I found Windsor a refreshing break from London when the time called for it and would like to stay in Windsor again. The speak easy style of Incognito was a fun place to get drinks . Mr. Simms sweets shop had the bon bons I was looking for. Intoku had amazing food! I got to try the chicken katsu curry and sushi and both were delicious. There is also a Fuwa Fuwa there that has tasty Japanese style souffle pancakes. I can't wait to go back to Windsor!

Lovely town. Bit disappointed with the cleanliness.
Lovely town. Bit disappointed with the cleanliness. You should take better care of the memorials to fallen heroes. A little bit of TLC would go a long way. The lack of businesses not accepting cash is very frustrating. It is legal tender after all and we didn’t want to keep tapping cards as we had cash with us.

Great place to visit, should of stayed a couple of days...
Great place to visit, should of stayed a couple of days longer. The ticket person who was there on the 26th August 2024 in the Eton and Riverside station in Windsor was very helpful with a trip we went to Hampton court and how to get there. Went to Clapham Junction and then on to Suburtion then to Hamption court Station. On the way back from Hampton court we went straight to Clapham Junction then back to Windsor. All bus drivers were also very polite and helpful. The only unpolite staff where in the The Queen Charlotte pub. I brought a couple of drinks for me and my wife and sat outside drinking them. But when my wife went into use the ladies toilet they were very rude to her accusing her of not being a customer. Drinks are also over price in there and I will not recommend the place.
The Two brewers pub also has only one ladies cubical and there is a queue of several ladies always waiting to use the toilet but the pices and drinks in there are okay.
We also went in the wetherspoons pub which was the best for prices and toilet facilities. Oh and the Castle experiance was great. :-)

Found Windsor a perfect location to Visit London ..
Found Windsor a perfect location to Visit London .. We would have preferred to spend longer in Windsor and do day trips to London instead of staying in London .. If you pick the right train , its just a 35 min trip into Paddington, or the same train a little further to places like Covent Gardens. If you don't mind a 1&1/2hr. bus ride to Victoria Station few mins walk to Buckingham Palace cost two pounds against 10 pounds on the train
The staff were so friendly and welcoming, our room was amazing, so clean and comfortable! The location was perfect, a few mins walk to Windsor castle for the investiture ceremony. Breakfast was one of the best we have experienced and our amazing afternoon tea deserves a special mention!! . All in all Castle hotel was perfect for our stay thank you!!
We have stayed at this hotel before. It is perfectly situated for visiting Windsor Castle - our reason for the trip. It is a 10 minute walk.
The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable, with a great shower and the staff are friendly and helpful.
Breakfast is good - self service.
The hotel is in a good location just metres away from the castle and the long walk. The room was spacious and the breakfast was good. Staff in the breakfast area were really nice. It is consistent with a 3* hotel rather than 4*.
We wanted a hotel away from Windsor centre with parking
Only stayed bed and breakfast good choice of food hot and cold great smoothies
Hotel staff friendly and hotel clean in all areas easy check in and out
