Lovely room with a window that opened out to the trees.Quite a long walk to it though as there was not a direct lift to that floor but very comfortable and stylish room.

The property is meant to be impressive and so it is, you are paying for the building and the lawn in front. Best part is having a drink outside with view of impressive lawn but you don’t have to stay here to enjoy that. I would not stay here again.

Never stayed in Winchester before and did so now for three reasons: visit to Jane Austen's home in Chawton; visit to Winchester Cathedral; Visits to some National Trust properties. Accomplished all with no problems and was delighted with Chawton, awed with the catherdral and as usual the NT properties were well up to scratch. Good short stay.

Loved the feeling of history around the city.
Loved the feeling of history around the city. The High Street was vibrant with a good variety of shops and eating places and with no traffic it was very relaxing. The Orangery stands out as a fabulous place for brunch.
The river was very accessible with pleasant walking alongside it.
There were many interesting places to visit

Historic, characterful.
Historic, characterful. Beautiful old buildings and structures. Enchanting watercourses, walks, green areas. Great restaurants, food, pubs with lots of outdoor areas. Special mention Rick Stein, Chesil Rectory, Bishop on the Bridge, Greyhound on the Test (Stockbridge) and The Pig (New Forest).
From the moment we arrived we were treated exceptionally well. Our bags were taken up to our room whilst we went to park in the permitted areas. The room was very spacious and perfect for our needs. The breakfast that was pre-ordered each night was brought to our room at exactly the time requested, piping hot and everything ordered delivered. The location of the hotel to enable exploration of Winchester could not have been better and despite being in a town centre the room we stayed in "Nina Campbell" was extremely peaceful.
Winchester is the home of my former regiment I spent a couple of days to meet up with colleagues from past and present for a golfing event. The hotel is very convenient to pubs and bars to meet up and reminisce ideal set up and Thankyou
Nice setting and location very handy for Winchester.
Breakfast was good and excellent facilities in room. Just let down by poor housekeeping really. I liked the subtle animal touch in bedroom. Hotel staff were very nice.
Location, location, location - very close to the historic centre of beautiful Winchester.
Lovely old-fashioned English hotel with lots of history, nice bar.
