Location is perfect. Right in the centre of town. Unfortunately there is no parking. Room was big and comfortable. There wasn’t a window except the skylight and I struggled to open the blind on this. The building is lovely, with nice furnishing. Staff were friendly. Breakfast wasn’t included so we paid for that but was one price for whatever you selected, £15, so you could have had a full English or just a sausage sandwich and it was the same price. I would definitely stay again.

I almost didn't want to do a review on the Thorn B&B because it was so perfect I wanted to keep it a secret 🤫 Gorgeous, quiet location. Great to have a whole little house all to ourselves. Lovely cooked breakfast hand delivered each morning. The lovely host, Alex, likes to deliver breakfast by 8am so if you want a lie in take some cereal or bread for toast and make your own in the little kitchen where a microwave, small fridge with chiller slot (not freezer), coffee machine, toaster and kettle are provided. There's also tea, coffee pods, condiments, jam and a big barrel of biscuits provided. Small living room with smart TV, cupboard that doubled up as a wardrobe and ironing board and iron home and dining table. Walk in shower was efficient and toiletries are provided. The bed was comfy and the bedroom was equipped with fans, electric blanket, hairdryer and straighteners! There wasn't a garden view in our lodge but there was a private drive that allowed us to take the car right up to the front door of the property which made unpacking a breeze. Away from the property there is a local pub 'The Three Tuns' which does a very nice meal. Not the cheapest place for food but if it is only a night or two then it's great. There is no shop of any kind in the village so stock up before you get there. Alex gave us a fabulous welcome with a little treat (I won't spoil the surprise) and nothing seemed too much trouble for him. If you want a relaxed, private experience then this is definitely the place for you.
The room was small (and so was the shower!) but well functioning. Everything was very pretty and clean. The beds were comfy. And we especially enjoyed having access to the breakfast room where we served ourselves from many different options. Wonderful! However, the WiFi didn’t work and the pub is on a busy road so the traffic noise, which started early in the morning, was annoying.

Would recommend as easy access to Cambridge, surrounding towns % motorway. Rooms clean with good basic facilities, with a simply continental breakfast but in a pleasant separate room, which had lots of space & open 24/7. Most of all the setting, set within a beautiful garden & village with helpful locals & a superb supermarket, bakery & incredible Indian restaurant all just...on the door step ! ( i.e within walking distance)
The host was friendly, helpful & efficient. We are so happy to have found tis location as, we live abroad. Granny´s house is being sold & we wish to come & visit the remaining family & friends but not stay in their houses. We would recommend this location to anyone.

There were no local attractions except the ugly scene of a vast area of what should have been countryside being changed into a road network. One pub, friendly but dark inside. One social club to which you have to be a member.

On the outskirts of Cambridge (approx 9 miles) with the guided bus being approx 1 mile away, which you can either walk or drive to. Good village facilities including pubs which do excellent food and a micro-brewery too, a curry house, fish & chips/Chinese, a great farm shop & butchers and a Co-op.
We liked the friendly welcome and helpful details from Ell. The room was clean and bed comfortable and a good bathroom The location was great for the park and ride, about 2 miles away, which was free to park for 18hrs. Free parking at the hotel was also great. We had the use of a shared kitchen which we used a lot . The kitchen was shared between 3 rooms and the continental style breakfast was plentiful and left for you to help yourself in the kitchen.
The breakfast was good and plenty. We can eat as much as we can. We booked for 5 people but in the last minute we had additional one member for one night. We wanted to pay for the additional breakfast for one person. But Willingham house did not charged us anything.
The location is good, a bit far from the city. It's in the countryside and very quiet and peaceful. We had a good sleep in that house.
Extra great approach by the hotel personnel and especially by the hotel manager. A place where we must to return!
Again many thanks for your assistance with the troubles in regard for the poor rental car company service.

Small old English style Inn, with excellent bar and restaurant facility below the rooms. We liked the authentic style kitchen, to suit yourself. Also very convenient for early morning leavers. Easy access to Cambridge and ferries.
Willingham House represented very good value for money. Breakfast was simple. The staff very kindly bought me gluten-free bread. I like the self check-in method. Communication was very good.
Nice stay in Willingham - the hosts were friendly, the breakfast good. Good value. It takes approx. 20 minutes to reach St Ives or Cambridge by car. This is very convenient.
It is a basic B&B, but it suited us v. well; unbelievable value for money!
Also, Willingham is a very attractive, well-appointed village with great amenities close by.
The location was good and I particularly liked that Willingham House had a guest fridge, crockery / cutlery and breakfast foods. Clean and basic, value for money.
