Room was more than adequate for a one night stay although I'd got a little fed up with the emails before arrival trying to get me to upgrade. Room was in the new block, nicely decorated and had a view over towards the river. Bed was very comfortable and shower was excellent with good quality toiletries. No shelf in bathroom for own toiletries but glasses were glass not plastic. Tea & coffee making facilities offered a couple of additional flavoured teas. Fridge in room which would be useful for a longer stay. We arrived early so were able to find a parking space and the parking system in the hotel to register the car was easy to use. All of the staff were polite and professional.
