Falcon Manor Hotel, hotel in Wigglesworth

Built in 1841, this Grade II listed building has retained many period features, with converted and tastefully furnished interiors creating the warm and friendly atmosphere.

From the minute we arrived we felt at home. Melissa efficiently registered us and took my bag up for me as we had had a long train journey along with the fact that I had hip bursitis developed in the last two weeks probably from twisting in and out of my car...lesson learned! Our two rooms were adjacent and had everything required for our stay. There was a very relaxed atmosphere in the hotel - other guests were friendly, some were bikers (yay!), some Dale walkers, a happy mixture. Loved my bed, duck filled duvet, oh the list is endless, and wow the chefs did us proud too.

This was my only criticism. Good choice of cooked breakfast which was cooked to order but the buffet consisted of 4 choices of cereal and orange juice. No fruit,, fresh or otherwise, no yoghurts croissants, chees or cold meat selection

A charming village in the scenic Yorkshire Dales.

A charming village in the scenic Yorkshire Dales. Long walks with scenery in every direction. The Plough has multiple fireplaces going on colder nights and a wonderful clutch of people in the pub. It’s like going back 50 years in my memories, but with new decor and all the up to date amenities.

A very pleasant quiet village. Really quiet at night with no glaring street lights, wonderful for sleeping. The Plough is central to the village life for both locals and tourists. Some very narrow scenic roads but take care driving around them

First time visited Wigglesworth and it's a beautiful village with great scenery, lands, amenities and the people are welcoming and polite. We drove out to Settle too, about 5 minutes, found parking and walked into the village town and lots of places to sit and eat too.
