A very beautiful and cosy fishing village nestled between the hills and the sea. There are plenty of great spots for scenic photos, great cafes and restaurants and many shops for gifts, clothes and groceries. I definitely recommend visiting, it has a great atmosphere and many things to explore!

Weather was very good when we visited, and Looe was extremely busy (we thought). We had to negotiate many dogs, pushchairs and traffic using the pavements! Even the Beach was busy - which was good to see for mid September. Bars and shops were also well used

Unfortunately in the Cornish mizzle there was not a lot we could do...we wanted to explore some more beaches, but it was not to be (this time). On the first evening we had pizza at La Boca which was very yummy. The town centre itself is quite cute, with a variety of places to eat and little gift shops. There is not much parking near town though, so we parked at our bnb and walked down.
We had amazing Fish & Chips from Kelly's, which we ate on the pier on the one dry evening. East Looe beach was nice, but again, not the weather to enjoy it unfortunately. The river is very beautiful, especially when the tide is in.

I would avoid the Hannaford Point hotel and I certainly wouldnt pay extra for the balcony and sea view. Booking.com seems to be blocking my ability to review the hotel so I will do it here!! The staff are lovely but the room was filthy, the carpet stained, the bathroom stank, hair in the shower - certainly not mine - there before I had used it.. As you go to the first floor stair well hold your breath the smell is dreadful, I think the warm air from the spa gets trapped there, onward to a narrow corridor wrinkled red carpet. Room 426 had a charm and odour of its own the room upstairs has such squeaky floor boards you need to have a good drink to sleep through the racket, I am guessing this is staff accomodation given how early they started walking around, and someone got lucky half way through the morning judging from the noise. Dont attempt to use the lift we got stuck in it and so did another couple. Breakfast was disappointing.

Great Cornish town.
Great Cornish town. We went to some great restaurants including FIFTY and The Sardine Factory (Michelin star); we also went on a glass bottom boat trip, the Monkey sanctuary and the beach. We aren't dog owners, but it's a very dog friendly place. The locals were also SUPER friendly. There are also some great shops. Lovely place, would go back.

A good power shower and comfortable bed.
We took the opportunity to indulge in a couple of Spa treatments offered on site and id give the lovely hostess Sarah 10/10. They do allow pets which is a big bonus for anyone x
We loved our stay here. It’s in a beautiful part of Cornwall right near all the pubs and shops (but not too near, so it’s not noisy at night). The facilities are excellent, everything is immaculate and you’ve got everything you need but there’s a little shop just outside the door. Can’t recommend it highly enough.
Loved everything! the accommodation was absolutely perfect, the hosts were really friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for exploring a wide area of Cornwall and just small touches like Cornish scones, clotted cream and jam awaiting you on arrival was first class....we will be going back there.
it was a great place for us 70yr olds to have a fab weekend,, it was spotlessly clean, had a very thoughtful welcome basket, the beds were extremely comfortable and a great place to set of and see some of Cornwall ,, we will definitely be back 😀
