The whole surrounding of the golf course and being able to rake a nice walk. The weather was amazing also which was an advantage made me want to sit outside our cabin.

A superb area of The Black Country.

A superb area of The Black Country. Lots of great hotels and apartments to stay in, not too far from Birmingham, to reach by bus or train, to leave your car behind. Lots of great pubs, so no need to lower your standards by using a Weatherspoon's same with food, fantastic ethnic variety to choose from, so no need to lower your standards by using Mcdonald's or KFC.

Our visit was to Aldridge/ Walsall and sorry to say we won't be rushing back. Took daughter to stay at her partners, we booked Barons Court Hotel to have a meal, stay overnight and do something the following day in the area as we had stayed previously and enjoyed ourselves. Hotel review partly reflects how the facilities and area has changed for the worse. Hotel run down, rooms are a shadow of how they appear on the photos. Used the Horse and Jockey pub across road for a meal and drink. Meal okay then found out it was closing down in two weeks to become a Lidl. Looked at next pub to go to, drove down and found out it was a Co op. Nothing else to do so stayed in hotel TWO hours then left for home after dropping daughter off. Certainly no plans to revisit anytime soon.

We went to see Noddy Holder at Walsall Arena Arts Centre. It was an amazing evening. The Beverly Hotel was perfect for my wife and myself. Very friendly and helpful staff. The food was amazing and cooked and served exactly how we wanted it. Very impressed with the stay there and will be back as we have family and friends living close by. So Thank you for the staff and the enjoyable stay there. Peter Hevican.

Not a lot of independent choices when eating out.

Not a lot of independent choices when eating out. Just the usual chain eateries which make the place feel tacky. Ended up in TFI Fridays due to lack of good choices. It made do as I was only there to carry out a job but I wasn't bowled over by the place. Only good thing was a cool little Caribbean bar called Pimientos across from the station to grab a beer. It felt like entering someone's sitting room.

I found that all the staff were local and very knowledgeable about the area and had worked at the hotel for many years. I would recommend the hotel for conference meetings and a good place to hold wedding receptions. I also found the the food and accommodation exceptional for the price and have already recommended the hotel to other people. I will also be booking again in July when I will be visiting Walsall again.

Excellent!!! Check In was a breeze and the facility manager made sure that I had everything I needed. The room was superb - large, comfortable and clean. Wifi was super fast and I had extra amenities including a microwave, dishes and cutlery! The location was walking distance to a supermarket for amenities and to the tram station into the Birmingham and the surrounding are. All around lovely and would definitely be staying there again if in the area!

Nice entrance/reception area and ground floor eating and drinking spaces. Room on 3rd floor - small and outdated, but feature wall was a nice touch. Bed - double bed reasonably comfortable if you like to sink right in. linen was marked stained. Breakfast - nice morning welcome by staff, plenty of space to sit and eat, didn't feel rushed, buffet style. carton juice and water available, hot breakfast was nice a kept hot a basic range.

Modern Hotel just off the motorway that was a convenient location for a wedding were were attending locally. The hotel was clean and tidy with a good size room and bathroom with shower. There was a nice bar behind the open plan reception area with good social area. This was also used for breakfast in the morning where there was a good choice of cereals, fruit, continental breakfast as well as sausage, bacon, beans and eggs.

I liked the idea of this hotel, it was old and simple, however it met my expectations. The location is excellent in middle of wallsall, between Birmingham and Wolverhampton. The room was spacious enough, there was a washing machine, kettle, microwave and a toaster. Beside the double bed, there's a sofa-bed. There is a free parking here for the residents.

We had room 4, cosy and very well equipped as you don’t normally have a fridge or microwave in a room, comfortable bed, room lovely and warm on arrival, decent sized bathroom and the person greeting was a nice touch … Manager very polite and helpful … Would definitely stay here again, much nicer than the popular cheap big named hotels.

I think some distinction needs to be made for where taxi drivers should put customers off..my Uber driver had me at the back of Parsons way. If you are new to the area some guidance should be given for safe drop off point and direction for property since it is off road.

The staff are fantastic, they're really helpful, chatty and friendly. The breakfast was lovely. The hotel is old and quirky but the rooms were clean and cosy. I liked that it was 24 hour access, even though I didn't need it.
