Such a beautiful setting. Peacocks, chickens roaming the gardens, very friendly and welcoming. Grand but not stuffy. Delicious breakfast, Dinner was great too, nothing fancy but cooked to perfection and hearty. Lovely walk behind the hotel in there little woodland area.

We thought it was a stunning B&B full of character and beautifully presented. The owner was warm and welcoming and our room was immaculate and cosy with a beautiful view of the mountains. Food was homemade and absolutely delicious. What a gem of a place! Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing and chilled get away.

From arriving later than we expected amd checking out early the next morning, the staff were absolutely fantastic!! All very polite.
The food was delicious....there was a wait for the food, however it was very much worth it once it arrived.
The bedrooms were lovely and cosy , we all had a very good night's sleep.
We also had a packed lunch made for us as we departed early.
After a huge hike up Skafell Pike and a dip in the river leading to wastwater, we headed back to the bridge Inn for a perfect tea of scampi and chips before making our way home back to lancashire - the chunky chips are absolutely amazing!! Made the way chips should be made - the old fashioned way.
Lovely, lovely, lovely!!
