The barn cov. was great! Cosy and welcoming. Tea, coffe and little milk pods just when you need a cuppa after the trip up to Waberthwaite. Pub serving great food just a 5min walk away, and the local shop, what can I say; I got us (5 adults really) some great Ribeye steaks! Everyone we passed (not many) saying or giving a wave hello. Wasdale Head just a 30-40min drive and then on up to summitt Scafell Pike! Nice and quiet - just what we needed. Next doors chickens were curious & supprisingly quiet - a really relaxing break.
