How clean and tidy it was. And a bonus, we liked how we had the place ourselves. That it had the Internet, a TV and a kitchen available for use.
This modern hotel with stylish surroundings has an excellent location, off junction 2 of the M6/M69 interchange.

The room was comfortable and clean, the bed is is big which is great, I hate small double beds!
We had no mini fridge in this room but we had a bath which I like.

We didn’t come to stay at the hotel because you couldn’t give us the twin beds I requested when I booked the room.
The email message after I paid said couldn’t guarantee one and would need to upgrade on arrival if available. Not what I booked and paid for.

The Staff. Fantastic, friendly, and professional. In particular, Rowan was a very lovely member of bar staff. Just the right amount of attentiveness without being pushy, offering table service, and a smiley hello when passing. Which was across the board with the staff, and I would like to especially thank the very dog friendly staff who gave our dog an 'at home' feeling. 👍💯
The Deluxe Double room was a great size for us with our 23k doggy. The bed was huge for all 3 of us to relax and plenty of space for our dog to lounge and also the dog bed! 🐕💯 It was spotlessly clean and fresh, with everything we needed...TV was huge...and the cleaner knows how to make a bed tight! Comfort was what we needed and what we got! 😴💤🛌
The drinks and food were of a standard price for a hotel. So, it's not cheap, but not high-end prices either, averaging £60 for 2 meals and 2 drinks each. The most expensive meal for us was £70, which was half n half pizza (not menu'd but the staff were willing to accommodate), the pasta and ragu (Banging! It's one of the best I have ever eaten) and a treat of a bottle of very nice white wine. Excellent standard, flavourful, and very enjoyable. 🥂😋
The location! Wow! There is a beautiful walk from directly behind the hotel which follows the river through a wooded area, although be careful where you stop to catch your breath...hubby got a spider bite whilst sitting on a woodland log 🤷♀️🤦♀️ not a problem for us who are out in the countryside regularly, so if you are city peeps...remember to keep your body covered!
Kenilworth is a very lovely place, a short 10-minute drive away from the hotel with wonderful walks through fields around the castle. If you take your dog, we recommend these walks and also Abbey Fields Park. Truly lovely. We visited the very lovely Abbey Fields pub, just for drinks, but was a place we would love to return to for food in the future. 🐕🍻

When I arrived I was given a free room upgrade that I wasn't expecting. The room was clean and very comfortable, with both a bath and a shower, which I really appreciated. I used the pool and the steam room. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast offered a large variety to cater for all tastes.

Great mid century styling - they've done a superb job of keeping so much of the original details and matching the new stuff to it. Sizeable room, good location, friendly staff.
