The staff were lovely and helpful. Jacob in particular went out his way to put my suitcase in a safe place as I was at a wedding.

Location is super, such a lovely town with beautiful independent shops and well worth a visit.
JDs is a personal favourite, either for a drink or meal if we're in the area, we always pop in. We've also stayed several times, and we're never disappointed.
The personnel are helpful and friendly at all times and add to the general buzz of the venue.
Parking can be limited, but you can always find a space on the High Street.

Good location, beautiful building, very clean and Jackie went out of her way to help me. I felt safe which is very important as a lone female, nothing was too much trouble, can’t recommend highly enough.

It's a beautiful and cosy place to be. Locating it was pretty easy. Facilities were just brilliant. Nice and clean. Lots of cutlery and pots and pans.
Check in was so so easy. And getting in was perfect as well. Hosts made you feel so welcome.
Living room was fantastic and comfortable and so cosy. You have lots of freedom as well. It's a nice quiet area. Overall this really is a brilliant property

This old coaching Inn is totally charming.You could just drive past..You need to drop in to experience the warm welcome,the superb food coming out of the kitchen!The lovely staff who are really helpful & their owner Victoria who creates the perfect homely place to rest your head,and eat a gorgeous meal.Sunday Roast 10/10..In fact every dish is 10/10........Full English cooked and presented beautifully.....Chain hotels should hang their heads in shame!!.....Rooms are comfy and cleaned religiously....Yes its close to the road.but it is an old coaching inn!! We believe its due for a refurb so it will be even more cosy & gorgeous!!This really is a little 'Gem'!!with history oozing from its beams,you can almost hear Queen Boadicea riding past!!!Superb on all fronts!!
