Great location, free parking, excellent customer service at check in from Victor and really nice breakfast. Room was a bit smaller this time for our family of 4 but I guess that was due to the hotel being quite fully booked.

Swindon is great for being a central base with lots of choices (so many!) for pubs, breakfast, coffee, dinner, nightlife, while making day trips to explore the Cotswolds, Stonehenge, Oxford, Bath, Marlborough, horseback riding, hiking, and charming villages of Wiltshire. Multiple buses from all directions stop there, as does the National Express coach service from Heathrow, plus there's the train and taxis.
Old Town is the place to stay to get the most out of your visit. Closer to the train station there are some vacant properties and it's a bit rougher around the edges.

I really liked Swindon. I traveled by train.
I really liked Swindon. I traveled by train. Train was on time, it was clean, kept informed of where we were, easy to get tickets, all simple no probs. If you wanted to travel by bus it’s a stone throw away from the train station. A short walk to the city centre. Plenty of shops to spend your money in. Plenty of place to eat. I sat in cafe and had a jacket potato and a tea £10 bargin! All good. Would definitely return.

We didn't have time to explore very much on a one night trip, but we were impressed with the cycle infrastructure and the variety of restaurants and pubs, though some areas of the town were a little run down and shady.
The bigWe rode through Lydiard park and were very impressed with it as a nice destination. Seemed like a lovely place to go with friends and family for a picnic and a walk or to jog or cycle around.

I used to live in Swindon and there are parts to avoid, ann the bottom of town isn't what it used to be, but for a great night out, there is Old Town. For country walks there is Lydiard Park and Coate Water. The surrounding villages and towns and close to the Cotswolds, Swindon is great for a central point

My stay was perfectly comfortable, clean and facilities just right.
Breakfast was delicious. It would've been nice to have the option of an evening meal.
Overall, I was very happy with my stay.
I booked this stay for a night while up shopping in Swindon. Hotel was great. Had plenty of parking & our room actually over looked the car park so could keep check on the car. We was gutted we hadn't brought our swim stuff to use the facilities. Staff was friendly & very accommodating. Would definitely recommend. & would definitely stay again.
Hotel was about 15min drive from Swindon shopping outlet & about 45 min drive to Bath.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Leonardo Hotel Swindon,
The location of the hotel is within 30min proximity to Cotswolds, which was perfect!
The staff were really friendly. Saloni was exceptionally fantastic! Very helpful and quick to resolve any issues that we encountered during our stay.
The breakfast had a very good spread and we throughly enjoyed it.
Thank you to the staff for making our stay
so pleasant.
The location is brilliant, just on the edge of Swindon you are in a parkland setting which is beautiful with the original house, lake and parkland setting. It is lovely that it is owned by the local council and available to the public. The bed was comfortable, the room was cool despite the heatwave and the staff were lovely. The cooked breakfast was also delicious
The staff were really friendly and accommodating, I felt very welcome there immediately and all my requests were met (extra pillows, a later checkout). The room was clean and comfortable and well equipped. Breakfast was basic but good to have a free meal included in the hotel price plus unlimited tea and coffee. All in all, a decent value hotel for a little getaway.
The hotel/conference centre is attached to the Manor House with a large park. The whole site makes a very positive impression. The Manor is very well restored. Hotel is probably recently refurbished. The price is very moderate. Restaurant is not expensive and good enough. Staff is friendly and helpful.
I can it truly recommend for the stay around Swindon.
Wonderful 2 nights at the Chisledon House Hotel in Swindon/Cotswolds. £81/night for 2, breakfast included. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Quiet area. Comfy bed. Gorgeous room. They have managed to perfectly match classic traditional manor house decor with modern facilities. Visited Castle Coombe while here. A wonderful weekend. Thank you 😊
Amazing apartment in a new complex! Clean and pacious with all household utilities, utensils and furniture. Perfectly located 1.5 mils from old town centre. Sufficient bars and restaurants nearby.

beautiful countryside location but within 10 minutes from swindon . staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
Anna on reception made checking in and out a breeze . our room was newly refurbished and was much bigger than expected. The whole hotel was spotless.
Such a great surprise of a hotel! Great facilities; pool, sauna, fitness centre, gym and a great little playground for kids. Staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. Food was AMAZING for all ages. Would definitely recommend and stay again.
The apartment was clean, tidy, comfortable and well maintained. Good communication in the lead up to our stay and the location was close to Swindon town centre.
The apartment was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay!
The hotel was easy to find, parking was easy, the room was quiet but a bit small for the three of us. Staff were very helpful and accommodating opening up the conference room for us to have breakfast as it was exceptionally busy.
Finding a farmhouse in the centre of Swindon with ample parking, spacious room and friendly staff. A pleasant change from cheap hotel chains but at excellent price. The breakfast was awesome.
The beds were reasonably comfortable, location was good for the old town, around 15 minutes walk to the main town centre, grocery shops within 2 minutes walk.
