A unique rural & quite unusual 'Hotel' - It is not what I would call boutique but it is very comfortable with many historical features in the common areas and the room that we were in was great. The evening meal was prepared by the owner (4th generation in the family I believe) & was excellent & not expensive. Breakfast was perfect and again prepared by the owner. The grounds are wonderful and perfect for an afternoon or evening stroll & I understand the owner also runs an Equine centre adjacent so Horsey folks are well catered for.

The staff at checkin were attentive and polite and it seemed nothing was too much trouble for them.
Checking out was straightforward.
For breakfast there was a reasonable selection from corn flakes to weetabix, croissants, and full English.

Stunning property, in a wonderful waterfront location. Couldn’t have wished for more. Beautifully furnished and with everything we needed for a home from home stay. The onsite facilities were such a bonus and we enjoyed a meal out, swimming every day and kayaking on the lake. Could have done so much more. Particularly enjoyed the balcony- perfect for watching the sun set. Will be staying again.

Excellent accommodation, food and service. Love the pool area.
‘Does it have a pool?’ is arguably one of the most common questions when booking a stay in any location. These hotels offer a great way to keep active during your holiday without having to hit the gym. Indoor pools allow you to practice your backstroke come rain or shine, whereas outdoor options allow you to relax on a sun lounger after swimming a few lengths.
The rooms were comfortable, a little old fashioned but a great nights sleep. Breakfast was nice, apart form the fruit that was tinned. Lovely staff. Great views from the hotel sight and the swimming pool and gym facilities were very good.
I loved that it had a Gym, Swimming pool, steam and sauna room open till 9pm and on top of that lots of different beauty treatments.
A lovely Restaurant and Bar which I ate in and the food was beautiful.
The hotel itself was beautiful and clean and most of all the staff were lovely.
Good layout, love the gym and swimming pool, great out door area for warm days, tv’s so football could be watched in the bar area was great. Ample parking.
Staff were excellent
Lovely staff, all very helpful and professional, accommodated to all our needs. Wonderful facilities, we used them all. Tennis courts, Sauna, Steam room, cardio gym, strength and conditioning gym, jacuzzi and swimming pool. Rooms were comfy, great size bed and space in room. Free parking which is great. Breakfast was lovely too, good spread and options. Great outdoor space to walk around grass/landscape.
Good location, easy access. Plenty of free customer parking. Clean hotel rooms, nice decor. On site restaurant, gym, swimming pool and hot tub. Also has a spa which we did not use.
