I loved everything about this tiny house. The host is the kindest person. I arrived without a car, the house is close to the train station, yet I was offered to be taken to and back to the train station by car. My arrival was on Sunday after any grocery store was open, in the tiny house there was some food already for me, and fresh milk for the coffee in the morning. If you need any help, the host will always help you to feel the most comfortable. The house itself is very sweet, everything is new. I am from the EU, and I had an adapter with me for my charging cables, but I appreciated that even the power plugs also had USB plugs included. They thought about any small detail, starting from fresh milk and some sweets in the kitchen to a first aid kit and everything you need in the bathroom. Additionally, the area is very calm and beautiful and it's only 20 min from the PF International Karting track (special info for the karting community).
The pub is a little tired around the edges.
It has lovely staff & breakfast was excellent, was ok for a 1 night stay to break up a long journey, was a little noisy at night but it was a hot evening and a Friday night in a pub, so expected.
Would stay again, don’t expect the Hilton and you will be ok, good old country pub who could do with some cash throwing at cosmetics

Everything! The staff were polite and friendly, the pub attached is beautiful and so cosy. The room was clean and tidy, we were asked if we needed more tea/coffee/milk in the morning as we stayed 2 nights. The shower and bath were in perfect working order. Parking is ample and free. The area is so quite. Great value for money, especially compared to a chain hotel down the road I was originally going to book. If we're ever in the area again I would definitely re-book. 10/10
We were breaking up a long journey with an overnight stay and this was the perfect alternative to "motorway services" chain hotels. Our dogs were welcome, we had a fantastic dinner in the pub and the rooms were spacious, well-equipped and comfortable. Although breakfast wasn't available on weekdays, the staff pointed us towards the village delicatessen for a bacon roll - Perfect!
The lord nelson is a small family run pub with a small number of rooms, it was clean and provided some very nice coffee in the rooms. I liked the staff a lot, they were friendly and able to help with any requests. We stayed one night to break up a journey and it worked well as a hotel to pass through.
The beautiful hotel is full of character and is very welcoming. If you’re there on the weekend, do get the cooked breakfast as it is one of the best full English’s I’ve had.
Lovely Country Pup hotel with comfortable rooms that were lovely and clean. The staff were very friendly and the food was fantastic and great value for money.
