It was lovely nights stay and just what we needed for a mini get away.
The owners clearly work so hard, made conversations and were friendly.
We took our dog along for the evening and he was made a fuss off at any given opportunity which we appreciated. He was on a long leash outside and wasn’t a problem to anyone.

We stayed here after a day at Alton towers nice location incredibly friendly and helpful staff food was amazing!! Breakfast was really good nicely decorated and overall a lovely stay and 20 min drive from Alton towers
Very comfy beds, the food was really nice, lovely restaurant and menu and the staff were nice and polite. The Location was good, about 20 mins drive from alton towers. Hotel was quiet couldnt hear any traffic at all, neither any other customers.
We had an evening meal at the hotel which was very tasty, super hot and quickly served. Slept well in a comfy bed and then breakfast the following morning was great. All staff were friendly and helpful. We would stay here again if in the area.
The staff were very helpful upon our arrival, we actually told them that the Boars head was one of the nicest hotels that we ever stayed at
