Hotel is located in a very peaceful part of old Poole sufficiently far away from the more lively Poole Quay. We couldn't get our car into the small hotel car park as it was full but public parking is located nearby. We loved our room - good size and very stylishly decorated. Very helpful receptionist who also carried a suitcase to our room. Great outdoor seating area which gets the evening sun and was a lovely place to have an evening drink before dinner. Dinner was good but prices have risen since our last visit.

The Antelope is in a very central location and was easy to find. The multi-storey car park is close - even closer if you leave the car park at the rear and not at the front as I did! It is only a couple of minutes to the front and it was very easy to explore Poole from here. Because I had to leave early for the ferry to Cherbourg I was not able to have breakfast so cannot comment on that,

Large room. Old building so have to take that into consideration. Evening meal was good, but limited choices on the menu due to them not having it all. Staff were very friendly and Jess gave us a very warm welcome. Having only taken over 7 weeks ago, they are heading in the right way, but just needs tweaking and we would of rated higher.
