On arrival we were greeted by very friendly staff, the lovely room had soft music playing from the radio. Meals were all freshly cooked and delicious. Lots to see in Tewkesbury within a short distance of the hotel.

Easy to locate. Plenty of parking. Rooms are very comfortable. Ellie the new owner is really nice and welcoming.
They said if I’m running late next time they would sort some food out if I called ahead. Not many do that

The Fleet is a lovely Pub on the banks of the river Avon. The setting is perfect for a stay in the area and the staff were absolutely wonderful. We loved the ambience of the place and we found the bed to be very comfy.

Good facilities for all travellers.
But sooooo noisy!
Good facilities for all travellers.
But sooooo noisy! Loud music together with noisy crowds make for difficult 'calm down time' from travelling. You can do something about the loud music, but obviously not about the crowds!!
Overall the hotel itself was basic but clean and we expected to have a good night’s rest to break up a long car journey.
Unfortunately, we had a room across from us having a room party with people going in and out of the room until well past 1am. This was particularly painful as they felt the need to let the door slam upon entry/ exit from the room.
If that wasn’t bad enough there was a family down the corridor that allowed their small children to race up and down the hallway until midnight.
Room was comfortable and very clean, I was impressed with the attention to sanitization of items, very reassuring guests that might be concerned about covid. Sophie was a superb receptionist, extremely helpful and pleasant. Anna was also very nice and helpful, they are both great advertisements for your hotel
The hotel is at a motorway services, I said I’d be arriving late, when I did arrive late. When I got there the motorway was closed for a PLANED 5 evening period and I could not get to the hotel.
They still took my money although they knew I would not be able to get in. Technically theft.
The hotel is very dated and in need
Of being updated
The beds were very comfortable the bath room I asked for a wet room
And the shower was over the Bath
And I have just had a hip operation
So not able to shower
But it did not stop our day out at the Caravan show
I use this hotel regularly when I am travelling to Birmingham airport. The location on the M5 is perfect and ensures that I can have a few extra minutes in bed before I head off to catch my early flight. The rooms are a bit dated, but very clean and comfortable.
We had travelled up from Cornwall and the traffic was horrendous so pulled into strensham and booked a room and the staff were so helpful and couldn't do enough for us including telling us about the money voucher for use in the services
The staff were very welcoming and accommodating. We had our 86 year old father with us & the staff were very kind about us using their fridge. We will definitely use this hotel & location again when exploring the areas near by.
Room 19 had a very noisy bathroom fan! Worked up by dogs staying in hotel!! Room not been serviced so had to ask for toilet roll, tea and milk! Room very hot uncomfortable night sleep. Would not stay again
