It’s a very quirky property with some areas having very low beams which are a delightful feature. Completely Dog friendly, my dog was able to be in the bar, dining area, room and garden. Has the best garden in town. Excellent location within the village

Beautiful property in a stunning setting. We went for our anniversary. Staff were exceptionally good. Really attentive and professional and helpful. We had a small issue at breakfast and they were very apologetic and kind. Facilities were amazing and room super comfortable and romantic.
We had an afternoon tea which was delicious and they took great care of our dietary requirements.
Lovely grounds for walks and cosy drawing room to spend an evening reading or chatting with loved ones.
Had the best time and wholeheartedly recommend!!

Stockbridge is a very attractive archetypal small English country town, surrounded by glorious countryside. Great for fishing, walking and visiting interesting venues, including nearby cities such as Winchester.
Good range of pubs, restaurants and shops in the town and good access to main roads making it an excellent base for touring.

Stockbridge has a variety of lovely independent shops, cafes and pubs. There is free parking along the length of the village and lovely walks across the water meadows by the river Test. It's a great base for visiting some amazing gardens like Mottisfont, Houghton Lodge and Longstock. Also an easy 20 minute drive into Winchester which is a lovely day out.

A stunning village with plenty of restaurants and quirky little shops.
The trout streams running at side of pavement are a delight, especially after dark when the trout can be seen swimming around.

A ribbon town over various tributeries of the River Test and the River itself. A lot of shops to facilitiate the very expensive chalk stream trout fishing, and other outdoor activities. Everyone we spoke to were very pleasant. Interesting gardens nearby (Houghton Lodge) and also the Leckworth (John Lewis) estate.

Overall it was satisfactory but it would have been better to have had 2 chairs in the double bedroom, rather than one person having to sit on the bed! Mayfly room above kitchen subject to appreciable noise from the kitchen equipment when being operated. Instructions for using internet unclear.

An old Market town with very good independent shops and relatively easy parking.
Nearby attractions are The Hawk Conservancy which puts on 3 very different displays every day., and the grounds nursery and water Garden at Leckford
We stayed in the new part of the hotel which was gorgeous. Lovely rooms with unique decor and nice touches with coffee bags, nespresso machine, pods and chocolates. The staff were very accommodating and pub itself cosy and lovely food

I thought that the Three Cups was marvellous. A lovely old building, beautiful garden and a well run bar and restaurant. The breakfast was excellent and the staff are a credit to the establishment and to Stockbridge.
Lovely country village 5 minutes drive or a 15 minute walk into Stockbridge but the Peat Spade has all that's needed good beer and wine excellent food ,and a good stay.what more does one need .Will stop again .
