Beautifully quiet spot in pretty quiet village. The house was delightful, full of character and beautiful things.! Breakfast, although vegetarian was truly excellent, best fruit salad, and perfectly toasted sour dough toast with a huge variety of preserves, plus great choice of cereals ad muesli. Hosts were warm and welcoming and we had use of the kitchen for drinks. The house was spotless and our room pretty and comfortable. Couldn't have asked for more!

You do need a car for the trip to the pub for food, but don’t stay to long its just as much fun at the cottage :-) Just a few minutes from M5 , Ivy cottage is a good base to visit Cheddar/ Bridgewater/Wells/Glastonbury

Tiny roads, but that's rural Britain.

Tiny roads, but that's rural Britain. Friendly drivers making difficult roads easier, but that's rural Britain. Friendly neighbours in the village and other locations. Other guests were also friendly. Quiet and full of nature, birds, other wild life. Lovely and peaceful.
