Beautiful location in the pretty village of Starbotton. Large comfortable bedroom and bathroom (with a bath). Free on-site parking. Lovely garden where we had breakfast outside with views of hills and trees. Good food. Lovely friendly owners. Lounge if needed. Very good pub across the road with excellent food.

We have stayed previously a long time ago but now we have a dog it was the perfect choice again, everyone was so friendly, the room was perfect, the attention to detail spot on, especially the Yorkshire tea bags and home made shortbread!

Last minute booking, wanting to get away. The weather was miserable all the way up, but on arrival the welcome we received made up for it. On checking in we were informed that a table had been reserved for our evening meal if we wanted one, and we are glad it was as the pub was full to bursting with locals and fells walkers who called in for regret and to dry off by the log fires. The evening meal was amazing and we slept well. The following morning we were greeted with orange juice, cereal, tea, coffee, toast and a mixture of breakfast choices, from porridge, to full English.
Our stay has been amazing even though the weather was miserable. Will come again. Thank you x

Lovely little village with stone houses and the one great pub. Good walks over to Arncliffe and down to Kettlewell. Bus service into Skipton and Grassington passes through Starbotton and the pub had the timetable displayed.

The room was lovely. Good size and had everything we needed.
The room was lovely. Good size and had everything we needed. Tea, coffee and biscuits. Great bathroom. Beds were quite bouncy but comfortable and we slept well. Breakfast was nice but would have liked more choice of cereals, ie muesli, granola. Also chopped fruit and yoghurt would have been nice. Background music would have also created a nice atmosphere. The evening meals in the pub were absolutely delicious. Would highly recommend the food and service.

It's in a beautiful area with easy access to other localities, small and larger which are part of this Dales area. The local pub provides a really good menu (needs to be booked). It's a really good base for walking, both easy and the more dedicated or strenuous type, depending on one's choice.

Starbotton is a tiny village full of beautiful large cottages. It is very clean and lovely to wander around after spending time at the local pub. The food at the pub is excellent and the staff very friendly, as are the locals. Dogs are welcome too.
