The property is in a beautiful location and the room was really cosy, clean and warm. I love the fact it’s kept some old features of the beams as well. The service was very personal and I was called by my first name which I thought was a very personal touch. I felt very welcome there as well. The food was excellent and of good quality. I particularly enjoyed my steak which was cooked to perfection. The banana dessert was really enjoyable as well. The sausages and bacon were particularly tasty too.

This is an extremely comfortable and well thought out property. It is well kept, spotlessly clean with good use of outdoor space. We particularly liked the little balcony overlooking the beautiful countryside.

This was a lovely cottage, so close to many walks in the Dales, especially the decent from Bucken Pike. Each of the bedrooms is very well equipped, as are the kitchen and lounge areas. I always enjoy cooking , so to have proper sharp knives and all the pots and pans I need, is a bonus. The cottage has the bedrooms on the ground floor and social space, into the garden in the first floor which works really well.

Amazing to stay in a 400 year old cottage, beautifully restored by the owners, who cooked a delicious full breakfast and delivered it to our dining table in the morning. It is situated out on a beautiful old and quiet village on the Yorkshire dales. Snacks were provided and the cottage set out beautifully.

This is a beautiful cottage in a gorgeous village. We had a really lovely stay here, everything was very comfortable and we enjoyed the bathtub after a day walking on the Dales Way. The breakfast was superb and very generous! We had dinner at the Fox and Hounds nearby - excellent food and ales and very cosy. This accommodation is highly recommended and a must stop over if walking the Dales Way or hiking in the area.

Lovely cottage, great location. 2 floor accommodation, large bedroom upstairs, lounge diner ground floor, large wood burner. Beautiful views. We had to leave early each day so missed cooked breakfast, cereal provided, so hosts Tina & Colin made us a packed lunch. Marvellous service.
