Ended up staying at Hampton as a last-minute reservation because I missed my flight from Stansted. The circumstances were quite stressful, but the staff's hospitality in appreciating that and going out of their way to make sure I had a pleasant stay anyway was all the more impressive by contrast because of that. Another thing I found impressive was breakfast that was served as early as 4 am (and the man who checked me in also made sure to mention that, if my flight is even earlier, they will have a take-out ready for my check-out, which by the way includes coffee). I also appreciated a vending machine on the ground floor that had all sorts of goods you miss the most when you don't have them during your travel, from edibles to phone chargers and drug store essentials.
I normally avoid taking planes earlier than 10am since I don't want to deal with checking out that early in the morning and travelling to the airport by limited public transport, but now I already have booked an early flight from Stansted and an overnight stay on this property before the flight, because I know it will go well here.

Our stay at this hotel was nothing short of disappointing. Despite checking in at 2 am due to unforeseen circumstances, we were rudely awakened by room service before 11:00 am, which left us feeling exhausted and frustrated. To make matters worse, we accidentally left behind a valuable pure linen dress, which we specifically remember hanging on the bathroom door. When we contacted the hotel a few hours later, they claimed they couldn't find it. The lack of accountability and disregard for guests' belongings is simply unacceptable. Overall, our experience was marred by poor service and a blatant disregard for customer satisfaction.

Comfortable and cosy! The rooms were beautifully decorated and a very reasonable size! The staff were lovely and could not have been more accommodating. I particularly liked how the rooms were accessible from a side entrance which made it much easier for us returning to our rooms so late. Would definitely recommend this accomodation.

I am furious that I cannot ring Ramada as their seemingly only phone is either ringing and no one answers or saying. Out of service. Tried their head office and they insist the only phone number they have for the hotel is the same one. Nobody there could help me. The receptionist that booked me filed completely . Was offered wake up call , never arrived so I only woke when cleaner turned up , missing out on shower, breakfast and late for appointment. Asked when booking in if my car was OK where it was parked and told it was ok. Now been sent a £100 fine as apparently receptionist should have informed parking company that I was staying there. I know it was after midnight when I booked in but that shouldn't affect the service I received. Need help but cannot find out who to contact and how. One very unhappy customer.

A wonderful surprise after having spent the whole afternoon travelling down to Stansted airport. The warm welcome and friendly staff immediately took the stress out of my early morning flight the next day. A drink at the bar served by charming people in a relaxed atmosphere and beautiful decor and a quick but tasty meal was just what I needed

Do not expect a 5-star hotel despite the 5-star prices. Newly refurbished premier rooms have lovely, friendly, soft beds.
Using deep, fluffy carpets in very long hallways is a mistake as it can be challenging to pull suitcases over them.
I only use this hotel because it is right next to the terminal, and my flights to Denmark are often ridiculously early,
You get two bottles of water in the minibar. Why it is not possible to run a minibar service in 2024 I don't know.

I liked all over the stay. Staff was polite, professional and friendly. Room surprisingly big, with comfortable bed, walk in shower with all toiletries, towels. Tasty breakfast. It was a bit cool food but I usually expect cold food when is buffet style meal.

The stay at the Hilton was comfortable and the staff friendly. Breakfast was included and very good. I have also stayed at the Raddison and if you are wondering which hotel to choose the Hilton is by far the better.

It was an enjoyable stay, albeit a short one. Edi & Dan are wonderful hosts and were quick to respond to our questions. It was everything we’ve hoped for. For those planning their trip, I’d highly recommend staying there. It’s close to the airport, but we didn’t hear any airplane noises whatsoever, or any noises for that matter. I suggest you take a train from Stansted Airport to Stansted Mountfitchet, as it’s about 7 minute walk to the property, as taxi might be pricey (we paid £45 for this short ride).

We landed at Stansted Airport late evening, so just needed a cheap bed and breakfast, but were blown away by this excellent find.
Everything was exceptional...the room, the location, the cleanliness and the hospitality.
Then there was a beautiful surprise of the Linden's decor, as we went down to our Lovely breakfast. This hotel is stunning!
The decor and ambiance are quite the best we have experienced.

The car park and hotel are owned independently, so we parked the car here and paid for the week, then took the very frequent (every 30 mins) and cheap (£4pp) shuttle to the airport for our holiday. Upon returning, we checked in for our quick overnight stay before heading home the next day. So much cheaper than booking an airport car park, and the hotel is perfectly acceptable for an overnight after a long flight. Breakfast was hot and fresh and sent us on our way refuelled.
The breakfast was UNREAL! the coffee machine and the options. WOW. the room was so comfortable and everything we needed plus so much more! Didn't get to even use the gym but it looked so much nicer than most gyms I've ever seen in hotels and wish I had had more time! would definitely recommend and so surprised it hasn't had more good reviews. the shuttle was exactly on time to get to the airport as well. perfect place to stay before or after a flight.
I like the premier newly refurbished rooms. I only use the hotel because it is right next to the terminal.
Breakfast is okay if you like dry hard bread and hard cheddar cheese. No continental cheese.
The location is excellent and the hotel can charge what it wants due to this. Opened the minibar, and found two bottles of water.
Why in 2024 is it not possible to have a minibar in an expensive hotel?
The Position of the Hotel- You could step on to the Plane! Room- Superb view of Airport/ Superb Size/ Very Clean. All Front of House Staff- Faultless. Particulary the Slightly Older ( Sorry) Fairhaired Lady in the evening Restaurant. Will Stay again- if you Replace the Chef! This is a Hampton Hotel not a Premier Inn! Johnny.
Ideally situated for access to Stansted Airport, just a 10 minute drive. Free parking at the hotel; just key in your vehicle registration at the reception desk. Rooms comfortable, staff very helpful and a dining area with a good choice of food. Would definitely choose this hotel again.
After a long flight we decided to book this hotel before our long drive home. Was such great value for money. The best was so comfortable and the tea making facilities were a bonus as we are coffee lovers. Ran out of milk so got some more from reception, they were very accommodating.
Staff very helpful. You can tell they get a lot of business from Ryanair messing up flights and people being stressed. Staff very nice, hotel clean and breakfast great for what I needed it for. Was not a planned stay but the hotel was a more positive end to a very stressful day.

Staff were really friendly. The services next door were a bonus and parking was free. It was really cheap and close to airport so I would prob use them again, but if you're like me and the journey is part of the holiday, this hotel will leave you feeling disappointed.

Location to airport is perfect with a regular shuttle service ( although alot of hotels offer free shuttles for guests) it's £4 per adult for a 2 min journey, probably cheaper to book a taxi?
