Arora's Retreat, hotel in St Merryn

Offering a garden and garden view, Arora's Retreat is situated in St Merryn, 20 km from Newquay Train Station and 28 km from Eden Project.

Unique glamping accommodation with all of the accessories and utensils that we needed. Great location with the beautiful Porthcothan Bay Beach only six minutes drive from the accommodation. Lovely view from the accommodation over the fields and the sunset. Pet friendly and clean. The campsite was quiet and the ablution facilities were clean (we were there out of season). Tap located nearby and ablution facilities were just a short walk away.

Molesworth Arms, hotel in St Merryn

Set in Wadebridge, 2.7 km from Brea Beach, Molesworth Arms offers accommodation with a restaurant, free private parking and a bar.

Only rated as good due to room being on the smaller side.We have stayed here before however and had more space in other rooms. Staff amazing. Very friendly and helpful. Good choices for breakfast. Would recommend the pancakes with berries for a lighter option. Full Cornish was also good.

Ideal base to revisit the places my mum loved, ie Porthcothan. She passed away last year and my reason for visiting same was to say cheerio on her behalf, esp to the proprietor of Carnewas Farm holiday Park, where she stayed every year from 1974 to 2005.

Busy village with all you need to equip you for your holiday. We enjoyed meals at both Cornish Arms and Farmers Arms and plenty of foody treats available in Padstow farm shop and Barnecutts bakery to make lovely picnics and meals for self catering. Very close to Padstow also so you can enjoy visiting there as well as being so close to a great choice of beaches.
