Really friendly staff and the food was lovely. The room was comfortable and spotless. Great base for exploring North Cornwall as well. Only 20 minutes to a beach. The hotel has been renovated to a high standard and still ongoing, but that doesn't affect your stay.

Wonderful location, lovely staff. I loved that there were buckets and spades to borrow for children. I didn’t have breakfast but if it was like everything else I am sure it was good. Wish I could have stayed longer - but I’ll be back.

Ideal base to revisit the places my mum loved, ie Porthcothan. She passed away last year and my reason for visiting same was to say cheerio on her behalf, esp to the proprietor of Carnewas Farm holiday Park, where she stayed every year from 1974 to 2005.

Busy village with all you need to equip you for your holiday. We enjoyed meals at both Cornish Arms and Farmers Arms and plenty of foody treats available in Padstow farm shop and Barnecutts bakery to make lovely picnics and meals for self catering. Very close to Padstow also so you can enjoy visiting there as well as being so close to a great choice of beaches.
