It is not the liveliest part of Great Yarmouth and does feel a bit run down. But it's excellently located for one of the piers, SeaLife centre, Ferris wheel and soft sand beach, and you can find free parking in side streets. Within walking distance of all the rides. We didn't visit the Venetian Waterways but it is well situated for seeing those.
