The staff were all excellent and very engaging.The Sunday lunch and evening meals were all of exceptional quality. There was a huge car park which was such a bonus. The owner carried our case down the stairs.

There was nothing not to like. The room was superb, quiet, size, decoration and facilities. Breakfast was fantastic all cooked fresh by Julie, who was always friendly, lovely lady. The location ideal for visiting places, the main A road a few minutes away. Definitely recommend this place and will get returning to stay here again.

Watton Earth is a lovely property with everything you need for a self catering break in Norfolk.
very quiet peaceful small village. Isolated regarding nearest supermarket but a lovely place with small single track lanes. Some not suitable for walking or cycling as dangerous with oncoming traffic. No pubs or restaurants, you would have to travel further for these.

Southburgh itself is small and very remote with access via single track lanes - just a bit too remote for our liking personally. Close to Hingham which is nice and has facilities (pub, shop, tea rooms, fish & chips, supermarket etc.) Had a very nice meal in the White Hart (but a taxi to/from was £40).
