Judge me for a stay and I did not sleep in the bed. I went there and they told me to come back later. I was under the impression I was allowed to book straight in. It was the middle of the night and I needed a bed so I had to go somewhere else.

Skelmersdale itself is just okay, but the opportunity to visit the surrounding area is worth it. A visit to Martin Mere Wetlands Trust is a must, also Dunham Massey for the deerpark. Pimbo garden Centre has a fantastic cafe and lovely friendly and helpful staff
nicely decorated and a fantastic breakfast selection. i had special dietary requirements on this visit and i mentioned these to the night porter and the staff at breakfast had been made aware. a nice touch. could not find fault with anything. would recommend this hotel and i will be staying again in the future.
The hotel was lovely, the bar and dining areas are really cosy. The staff were very friendly & helpful too. The food was really good. The bathroom was very clean and modern. The room was lovely and warm and it was easy to adjust the temperature on the radiator.
24 hour room service was advertised which is why I chose this hotel. Turns out it was only 25 hour DRINK service. Disappointing for how much I paid. Won’t return.
