The location was perfect, and the view was stunning from one of our rooms. The hotel was very clean & fresh. Access to the beach and to the England Coast trail is immediate. The front lawn was very nice for children to play on. Use of the nearby pool & spa was a bonus. It is an easy walk to the center of Seahouses & to the boat trips.

Quiet & peaceful all amenities close by e.g. restaurants shops post office which I needed, posted a parcel for sister's birthday which arrived the following day...happy days. The bed was comfortable. Small fridge which kept our milk cold enough for cereal in the morning.

It looks nice and was comfortable but was expensive for the actual quality of the apartment advertised. No breakfast is provided by the butcher even though the link referred to one being supplied. Unfortunately the fridge and shower did not work correctly and the customer is required to strip the beds after their stay. More suitable for AirBNB than Booking.com.

Seahouses is a fishing town with a number of shops to have a wander round. There are plenty of places to eat, mostly on the expensive side though the food is good. There is crazy golf but more importantly a fantastic beach. There are sea trips out to sea seals and birds and fishing trips as well.

The house is accessible to everyone with really good facilities, comfortable seating, the biggest dining table ever seen and really well-appointed bedrooms and bathrooms. There is even a quiet mezzanine area for tucking yourself away with a book! Outside there is a large terrace with seating and beyond a big green space. There is real peace here accompanied by the sound of numerous birds in the trees. Lovely.
We walked to Bamburgh, drove round to Lindisfarne and another day to Alnwick gardens (their Treehouse Restaurant is top notch.) Beadnell is worth a visit plus their Craster Arms pub, and so is Craster itself with its smoke house and a stroll to Dunstanburgh castle as a treat.
And there's lots more places to explore next year!

I have been to Seahouses almost every year since 1991!
I have been to Seahouses almost every year since 1991! I have also been almost all round the British coast, and nowhere beats Northumberland. Seahouses has a perfect mix of scenery, wildlife, entertainment, shops and is very friendly and unpretentious. A great place in it's own right and a great base for the rest of the coast and county. Even after over 25 visits I'm not bored of it! So much to see, do and enjoy. A must-do is a boat trip to The Farnes - ideally with Serenity as these are the best trips with nice knowledgable staff.

Beautiful working harbour adorned with lobster pods, plenty of day trips to visit Farne island, fish or drive. Lots of independent shops which is nice to see but best of all a great choice of eateries for breakfast, lunch and evening with the quality first class. The fish& chips were so tasty and the Italian was so atmospheric with such flavoursome food also you can walk everywhere easily
The apartment was in an excellent location on the Main Street in Seahouses, parking was close and free with the permit provided. The apartment was very comfortable and equipped with everything you would need for self catering. We particularly liked the thoughtful geStures provided, like fresh milk, cereals and jam pancakes. Everything was catered for and it made our stay very restful and enjoyable. We thought that the apartment was very good value when compared to nearby hotels, would certainly visit again.
Loved staying here. Friendly welcome. The location was superb with lovely views. Our rooms (bedroom & lounge) were clean and thoughtfully decorated. Having the lounge was definitely a plus and having only booked one night at Chandlers on our road trip, we wish we’d had time for more. We ate breakfast in the delightful breakfast room next door and the food was very good.
We were next door to the Olde Ship Inn where we were treated to an excellent Sunday lunch followed by a walk along the beach.
Absolutely beautiful hotel with such a lovely, homely feel. I was initially worried about having a skylight room. But the room was great, and we were lucky that the stars that night were out. So that was a lovely addition to our stay. The staff were so friendly, stopping to chat and give drink recommendations. Lovely bar area with board games and a big TV, we spent about 4 hours in there and it was a lovely relaxed atmosphere.
Perfect house with a large terrace plus lawned garden. There was a peaceful air about it, with a touch of luxury too. It was handy for the great Seahouses shops including an amazing pie/pasty/quiche shop. Walking along the nearby beaches was glorious; the short sea journey to the Farne Islands was magical, the local people were welcoming and the weather behaved itself! We've booked for next year, hurray!
Very Comfortable accommodation perfectly located a short walk into Seahouses with access to pubs, restaurants and harbour boats. Little Haven contains all you would need for a short break. Dylan the owner left comprehensive information on how everything works including suggestions about local eateries. His recommendations were excellent , all our meals in Seahouses were very enjoyable.
Ideally situated for visiting all the attractions in the area..Very well set up for anyone wanting to enjoy the great outdoors. Very dog and bicycle friendly with dog wash facilities and bike storage. Exceptionally clean room, comfy bed, a nice restaurant with views across to the beach and very helpful friendly staff. Looking forward to coming back!
Everything . This is how it should be done . Thought of everything even down to the little things .
Location perfect if you wanting to stay in seahouses.
Bed extremely comfy . Shower was delight.
Reviewed many apartments and hotels and this is my first 10 out of 10 in terms of accommodation and value for money
Kirsty made us very welcome , the rooms are all spotless , the breakfasts excellent, everything cooked to perfection. Great location , easy walk to the harbour and the cyclepath to Bamburgh only 100m away. Good choice of restaurants , shops , main road not busy. Great cycling to Beadnell Bay and Bamburgh.
Ideally placed to explore the Northumberland coast- the beach at Seahouses, and the gem that is Embleton Bay.
Dog friendly - need we say more ?
Fantastic friendly service from Joan and the team at the Olde School House, the rooms are kept to a very high standard and, yes, the breakfast is exceptional!
A great little apartment in the town centre with all the comforts of home . A good self catering option after many days of travelling and eating out . Parking on site and a short walk to cafes supermarkets pubs and the beach . A good base as it is close to villages of interest in the area .
We were in Seahouses for an event. The owners adapted their Breakfast and booking-in timetable to our requests. The position of the stay was perfect for walks, seaside facilities and Bamburgh Castle.
The owners are friendly and chatty, with complete local knowledge.
A lovely traditional pub/ hotel within a short distance of seahouses harbour. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Food excellent, especially breakfast! Very quiet rooms which were clean and spacious. Excellent bar with good selection of cask ales
Lovely cosy and clean cottage. Wood burning stove was a lovely addition. Bathroom was very warm and spacious and lots of hot water. Short drive to great beaches and to village shop. Dog friendly.
