Exceptional first class accommodation, with very communicative owner. We enjoyed the luxury of this stay, and it helped us to relax just watching the sea, and with excellent access to the sea as well!

Although its directly above a pub the rooms are quiet as pub closes around midnight.
Lovely with lots of history.

We went to Seaham mainly for the beach.
We went to Seaham mainly for the beach. We also enjoyed looking around the town & marina. It was a good base for travelling to see local landmarks like angel of the North & Adrian's wall. We didn't find there was much to do in Seaham especially in bad weather. The locals all seemed very friendly. We found lot of local shops in the town were closed & had shutters down so not sure if that was permenant or seasonal as our visit was in October

Seaham beaches are renowned for its sea glass, and in that respect, it did not disappoint. There are lovely walks along the coast, the shopping centre is good. I did not eat out, so cannot comment. The bus service is very good, but the rail station is quite a walk from the centre.

Very clean. Good room. Good parking.
Very clean. Good room. Good parking. Poor menu options when running out of main courses. Ran out of two of the four main courses at 6pm. Told that chef had not prepared the pie and mash option despite being on menu.

Like everyone else, we went for the seaglass!
Like everyone else, we went for the seaglass! But the people of the area are great. Cheerful, helpful and talkative. We got chatting to others who were hunting glass, walking dogs, there for the view, and just really enjoyed meeting others. We were spoilt for choice on places to eat, and left with a lot more to visit - The Glass Centre 20 miles away has to be next.

Nice town with very friendly local people.
Nice town with very friendly local people. Good beaches and opportunities to swim in the sea. Beaches - sand and stones - were free of litter. Easy to park (free) near beaches. A town with a family vibe.
Obviously quite a new letting property on an estate so kitchen equipment new, beds new. Off street parking good. Local to Outlet village where there was a good pub serving Carvery at a reasonable price. Seaham a few miles away but free parking in most car parks and Large supermarket chains nearby to town centre.
