Toosey Lass - St Osyth creek, hotel in Saint Osyth

Set in Saint Osyth and only 11 km from Alresford, Toosey Lass - St Osyth creek offers accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking.

The boat is absolutely beautiful! The choice of colours and decoration throughout is second to none. Well appointed and scrupulously clean kitchen Tasteful bathroom with bath High tide was midnight the night we stayed so we were gently rocked to sleep in a large brass bed after sitting by a real fire (..who could want more than this?). The adjacent pontoon keeps align with the boat, so acess is easy. Smoking is allowed on here only Everything was made easy Especially the check in/out We were met by a lovely lady called Teresa who explained how everything worked etc then we were left to check ourselves out by a very reasonable 11am My only regret is I didn't book for longer

I just had a great weekend at the Pura Vida Caravan. The location was peaceful and scenic—perfect for an escape—while still having a strong internet connection so I could stay connected and get some remote work done. The setup was cozy and comfortable, with all the amenities I needed, and the WiFi was reliable enough for video calls and emails. It made it easy to balance relaxation with a bit of productivity. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a getaway that supports both leisure and remote work!

    Small fairly quite location.

Small fairly quite location. Can be a lot of through traffic to a local camp site though. A busy water park by the lake looked fun (although we didn’t take part), had a nice cafe and seating area though. Nice village Center with a couple of takeaways, interaction with any of the local residents was always friendly too.

We didn't actually spend a lot of time here outside of the place we stayed; the town itself isn't that interesting, and we just used it as a base to go to other places. We walked into town and ate at one of the cafes on the first day; it was nice enough (food and staff), but not something we'd go back for. Getting to Clacton for groceries is quick by car, and Colchester is a nice town also quite nearby; we also checked out Dedham Vale AONB, but that was a bit underwhelming. While you can walk around the local area, you definitely need some kind of transport if you want to check out anything else.

Breakfast option would of been very very helpful, .

Breakfast option would of been very very helpful, . Clear directions on website as there are several holiday parks in the area all with the same postcode! We didn’t realise how many good facilities were available for kids, so we could of made the stay longer if we had planned better when booking our last minute stay.
