Elnor Guest House, hotel in Saint Neot

Situated just 25 minutes’ drive from the Cornwall coast, Elnor Guest House offers free on-site parking and free Wi-Fi.

The Elnor B&B was just what I needed. I was booking last minute for a work trip, ideally in Looe but there was nothing available for a decent price. I found the Elnor B&B in Liskeard and it was a lovely stay. As soon as I checked in, I was greeted by lovely staff who were happy to give me dinner recommendations in the area. The room was comfy, cosy, clean and cool, I have no complains about it at all. The cooked breakfast was perfect - hot, hearty, wonderfully cooked, and the atmosphere was warm and friendly. I ended chatting to the staff until it was time to check out.

Wheal Tor Hotel & Glamping, hotel in Saint Neot

At 996 feet on top of Caradon Hill, Wheal Tor Hotel & Glamping is the highest inn in Cornwall.

From the very start it was all very friendly and welcoming. The rooms were beautiful and so clean, well stocked with everything you could need. Warm and inviting. Decent sized room. Enough pillows on the bed for relaxing as well as sleeping. Lots of tea and coffee, milk, etc. And a complimentary bottle of wine. I couldn't fault it. We were there for a friend's wedding reception and we took over the place on Saturday. Breakfasts and dinner was lovely. Plenty of staff on to cater to us all. No queuing at the bar. Thoroughly enjoyed it so much so we want to do it all again next year. Thank you so much.

There was obviously a real community spirit in this village from reading the local village news which we purchased in the village shop. We visited the church and saw the beautiful medieval stained glass windows, the stitched kneeler, and woodwork. We had a drink at The London Inn with the friendly landlady, a roaring log fire made us feel very welcome, due to the dining restrictions we did not have a meal, no doubt we would have had a meal had this not been the case. We were able to visit many other beauty spots and beaches within easy travelling distance.

A beautiful cottage set in deep countryside, though actually only a short distance from the Halfway House, a pub restaurant an access to the cottage is via several miles of pure Cornish lanes. A car and a quarter wide, very interesting! The owner and his wife couldn't have been more helpful. Taking us shopping when our car had battery problems, also charging for us. As the house information said, it was a very much pet friendly cottage which if only he could write, our pooch LaTiDo would agree too.
