Clean , tidy, lovely shower. Great location for visiting both Devon and Cornwall. Staff were welcoming and relaxed and the room was comfortable. Good beer and tasty food.

The hosts Sally and Dave were both very welcoming and super helpful.
The location was really good, I had a lovely room that overlooked a park and I wasn't that far away from the City centre.
The room was spacious and very clean, the bed was comfortable and the coffee facilities in the room were kept well stocked.

The location. The lodge is set in the grounds of a manor house which is now a hotel. Fantastic views of surrounding woodland.

The Elliot Arms is the social centre of the village. There is one other 'restaurant and wine bar' in the village, but I didn't personally go to it. There is also a village shop/post office and that is it! The local manor house - Port Elliot - has a literary festival, plus there is nearby National Trust house, Anthony, as well as the spectacular Mount Edgecombe Estate, on the entrance to Plymouth Harbour. There is a handy rail station in the village and one is close to the beaches and Plymouth (useful also for those with relatives at HMS Raleigh at Torpoint).
