The hotel is located off a roundabout on the A388 and was very well located for the business I was doing. Staff were polite and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable, with free in room Wi-Fi. The food was good in the evening. Breakfast from 07.00am, was buffet style. Checking out was easy. I would highly recommend The St Mellion Estate and would definitely stay here again.

Spacious and very comfortable room with everything provided and a great view. Host was very friendly, welcoming and helpful, as indeed all the staff were.

Great place to stay on the Tamara coast to coast trail. Comfy rooms, very friendly staff and good food, what more could you want!
The Elliot Arms is the social centre of the village.
The Elliot Arms is the social centre of the village. There is one other 'restaurant and wine bar' in the village, but I didn't personally go to it. There is also a village shop/post office and that is it! The local manor house - Port Elliot - has a literary festival, plus there is nearby National Trust house, Anthony, as well as the spectacular Mount Edgecombe Estate, on the entrance to Plymouth Harbour. There is a handy rail station in the village and one is close to the beaches and Plymouth (useful also for those with relatives at HMS Raleigh at Torpoint).
