The property was extremely clean and the beds were comfortable, and the host, Karen, was lovely. We only stayed one night and didn’t use the kitchen however, it seemed well equipped. It was quiet considering being set back from a main road.

The facilities were good - indoor and outdoor pools and activities - we did the Escape room which was good fun. The Acorn restaurant was also good with a good range of options.

Ringwood was the ideal spot to visit the New Forest and surrounds. The Moors Valley Country Park is a five minute drive away. You could spend a full two days here, there is so much to do.
You can also visit Paultons Park which is 30 mins drive or Beaulieu which is also 30 minutes away. It is only 20 mins drive to the south coast beaches.
Ringwood has good amenities - supermarket etc.

Ringwood is a nice little village, with several cafes and restaurants. It is well situated for making trips around the countryside, but a bit close to a very large road (=traffic noise). There is not much to do in Ringwood itself (we visited family there)

Ringwood is a mix of chocolate box and modern.
Ringwood is a mix of chocolate box and modern. Huge choice of eating options from everyday to extraordinary. some "sourdough" places Frampton's and Bake House 24 and more everyday like café Aroma all three were great. the hospitality in every restaurant or Pub we visited was spot on.
Masala Indian take away also highly recommended.
The Cellar really cool, great vibe on a Friday night.
Pubs! The Railway and the Elm Tree also recommended for food and Beer.
Ringwood Brewery also worth a visit.
It's a great base for walks down the Avon but beware if the river is high it will be wet.
The Castleman Trail way is just south of the town and offers easy access on foot to the New Forest both North and South.
If you have a Car then I recommend the Rose and Thistle in Rockbourne. A brilliant base for walks in stunning country side.

The dislikes staff no attentive enough restraint closed at7 30 on a Saturday you had to find and ask for cutlery napkins at breakfast time did not like the fact you had spare furniture in room ie spare fold up bed room very cruddy not clean staff to young didn’t basically care about us guests room in my opinion only worth £50,00 per night
The host, Sue, was friendly and accommodating. She helped us out whenever we needed and introduced us to her lovely animals. The hamper filled with goodies blew us away, and the prosecco and beers were delightful. The room was cosy and romantic. We loved the chimenea outdoors and had it going every evening. There's nothing better than sipping a glass of prosecco with the fire going, watching the sunset! The location was great and was a short drive to most nearby towns. If you want a true New Forest experience, this is the place to stay!
A wonderful B&B where Mark & Sabine are friendly and accommodating. The location is great for both New Forest activities and easy access to many beautiful beaches and coastal walks. The rooms are roomy with very comfortable super king beds and the ensuite bathrooms are luxurious with everything you could need for a enjoyable stay. The breakfast is out of this world with fresh fruit, freshly baked goods and hot breakfast options - what a fantastic couple of days. We would return without hesitation - thank you Mark & Sabine!!
The property was very quint & cosy it’s in a great location in a lovely quite village great for exploring the New Forest & the local area, there are shops & a variety of restaurants & friendly pubs on the doorstep the property was reasonably clean and well equipped to ensure a good stay, the beds were very comfy we had no trouble sleeping there is allocated parking which is an added bonus we ate in the restaurant below the food was really good & reasonably priced we would defiantly recommend.
The location is central to the New Forest, the little market town of Ringwood is literally on the door step, with many delightful restaurants from British food to Italian cuisine, there's something for all tastes. There are many pubs, charity shops, tea rooms, clothing shops and 2 small supermarkets all within a stones throw of the accommodation. Above all everyone in this town are extremely friendly and helpful.
Great communication with Charlotte and Matt. Beautiful, immaculate home in a wonderful village 2 minutes walk to every amenity you need. A very kind and lovely gesture of a hamper of goodies on arrival. Great garden and lovely walks for the dog. Good restaurants, shops and pubs with very friendly locals.
So close to the wonderful coasts of Dorset and Hampshire highly recommend.
The studio was extremely comfortable making for an enjoyable overnight stay. The tables and chairs provided in the garden and the BBQ are a bonus, We were most impressed by the owners who contacted us soon after we had left as we had inadvertently left a jacket in the wardrobe. By that time we were well on our way home, so they arranged to post it back to us. Great service!
We loved absolutely everything! We were made to feel so welcome we when arrived and nothing was too much trouble. We love the new forest, so the location was perfect for us. The lodge itself was beautiful, really nicely decorated and a good size. We had everything we could have wanted and the bed was so comfortable. The garden area was lovely and we loved the hot tub!
Very quiet location with a patio area into the garden. Very comfortable accommodation with a lovely welcoming pack. There is a microwave and a full size fridge in the kitchen area. The owners were extremely accommodating and very friendly. Would definitely book again as location is perfect for exploring the New Forest.
Perfect base for touring in and around the New Forest area. Hosts Mike and Shirley were very friendly and extremely helpful and the icing on the cake was meeting their delightful boy. Jack !!! Not forgetting the superb full english breakfasts !
Shetland Cottage was perfect for our 3 night autumn stay. Very well equipped, clean, comfortable and cosy. Lovely location close to the New Forest and the coast. We would highly recommend this cottage.
WOW !! What a wonderful find The Annexe was clean and comfy with a powerful shower with lots of little extras. Karen & Chris were kind and knowledgeable about The New Forest area.Simply stunning !!!!
The location is amazing. Right in the heart of the New Forest, we even saw a new foal being born. Wild horses all around. The staff here are friendly and the service is great.
Location was convenient for shops but very noisy at bed time. Didn't have breakfast because I wasn't happy about the general level of cleanliness in the hotel.
