A huge, quiet room and super-comfy mattress and pillows. I slept better here than I have in many other nearby hotels. The tea/coffee selection was standard, the towels big and fluffy and free wi-fi is always a bonus. We had cooked breakfast on one of our days, made to order, it was good quality bread with beans, bacon and tomato. It was convenient to have the bar/pub next door for an evening meal one night, and the view from the pub garden - hat's off for the design, it's lovely to walk through/sit in – was very pretty. Meadow Farm really is in a meadow. The pub and restaurant staff are really nice and engaged with the customers. There is lots of free parking space.

We stayed at the green dragon on our way down to Cornwall. The room was basic but clean and had everything we needed. The girl working that evening was great and despite some of other reviews on here Anne the landlady was welcoming and made time to talk to us even though she was in pain from an injury earlier in the day. Phil was welcoming and the food was out of this world. The regulars make it everyone was so friendly. Would recommend highly

Great roads, you can get most places quickly.
Great roads, you can get most places quickly. A very green town with lots of trees and grassed areas. Good shopping centre and a great central location for visiting other local places such as Birmingham and Stratford upon Avon for example.

The town offers most if not everything you would want on a trip away. It’s close to Stratford-upon-Avon birthplace of Shakespeare that comes alive at 10am. Easy to spend a couple of days there with activities. People present friendly and the town feels safe.

A good town with a lot of big stores. 2 Wetherpoons and a good kebab shop(Pepenos) opposite the royal enfield wetherspoons. If this is your thing, you can't go wrong. All of this just a couple of hundred yards from the holiday inn express

Redditch is a pleasent town.
Redditch is a pleasent town. The hotel is near the centre and importantly the station. The hotel could be cleaner with rubbish left in the corridor overnight. I had the feeling that the staff were not very enthusiastic about their employment and the guests they looked after. Upper management needed to spend some time to look how the hotel had degraded and make sure staff enjoyed the environment that they worked in and what it meant to work in the hotel trade. It is very important to keep tables and the buffet area clean, the foyers clear of cigarette buts and corridors clear of pizza boxes and Mc Donald bags. Just these small things would bring the hotel back to its previous excellent level..

I think the staff can be a bit more helpful and maybe the right attitude to work will go a long way in making visitors feel more welcome.
The hotel is a bit dated and facilities could be better. We used the Jacuzzi and noticed it hasn’t been properly cleaned. The facilities are basic and not much to todays standards.
You also have to request to have a fridge in you room which I find a bit surprising. Most hotels nowadays have small fridges in Rooms for guests to use.
The gardens are nice and well kept and the hotel has walks close by which was a big bonus. Very good location but sadly there wasn’t a swimming pool although there’s a jacuzzi to use if you book it in.
Lovely surrounding feels as though you are totally in the countryside but easy to find. The pub is attached to the hotel and serves food from breakfast to evening meals. There is a Sainsburys garage and food store very close which is handy especially as I found that my diesel was 2p a litre cheaper there than at home. The shower was very good and easily controlable. Family friendly. Plenty of parking space.
On arrival no explanation given for meal times. No information on hotel displayed anywhere.
No explanation of buffet arrangements or dining arrangements. No explanation of menu options.Wine on wine list not available.
No Wi-Fi info given, had to ask.
We would have liked the hotel to have information board.
Location good as not far from Redditch. Despite an old hotel with some refurb, some good parts. Restaurant ambiance music was good. Lovely ladies at reception and also lovely gentleman at breakfast (he would be better suited to Claridges in London - very polite and well turned out).
Small independent hotel offering cheaper rooms than chain hotels. Room was clean, comfortable and staff were friendly and helpful.
Always like to use independent places if possible and this one didn’t disappoint. 10 minute walk into town centre, Train station etc.
It’s in the middle of a really beautiful rural area, which looked especially wonderful this May. The hotel itself has a series of individual en suite motel rooms at the back of the main house. Breakfast and eating meals i the dining RHH
Hotel was very clean with very friendly staff. Room was well presented, clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast had a good choice to suit all tastes. Would not hesitate to stay again in the future.
