What’s not to like. The location is perfect in the centre of Stratford views and verandas right next to the river. Close to the RSC and everything within ten minutes walking. A large & well proportioned bar.
The rooms are large, airy and well attired with all that’s needed, iron, ironing board, safe & fridge.
The breakfast is cleanly cooked & has super options with all tastes catered for. Breakfast is so important and enough to make or break any review.

Beautiful building and grounds. Interesting history, attentive staff. Excellent service. Swimming pool was lovely. Jai was especially lovely, looking after us after breakfast. They made my daughters 21st birthday extra special.

Perfect stay at The Lion — the room was spacious, clean, in keeping with the age of the pub, and bed was very comfortable. The food was really great - we had dinner and breakfast and both were superb. The steak pie was delicious! Mark was such a great host. He helped organise a taxi to the wedding we were going to which was a big help. We’d love to come back one day.
The College Arms is a great place to stay. The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. During a two night stay we met lots of the villagers who were lovely and welcoming. Our room looked over the green and on to the church. It was the perfect hub for exploring the area and visiting a good number of open gardens. I thorough recommend it.
