The George Hotel, hotel in Pylle

Centrally situated in the quaint town of Castle Cary, The George Hotel is a friendly, family-run 15th-century building, providing an ideal base from which to explore South Somerset.

Room quaint and dated but comfortable, food excellent. Dog friendly room was handy for our dog, as access was straight from courtyard. Bit awkward to find, but Castle Cary road layout is confusing. Staff were lovely and helpful. Good breakfast!
