The breakfast was a bog standard help yourself breakfast. No specials which the hotel used to do. Didn't like that the coffee came out of a machine.

When you visit Poole and stay at the RNLI College then it will take a short walk to the town and harbour. Then take a boat trip around the islands, or take a bus trip to Bournemouth. You can also visit the town and have access to lots of shops and very good restaurants. You can also eat at the RNLI restaurants where each £ you spend will go directly to the charity to fund saving lives at sea. It is a great place to visit. RNLI college is a great place to stay. All phots taken from our room.

Staying on Poole Quay was great.
Staying on Poole Quay was great. A lovely stroll along the waterfront with views to Brownsea Island. You can take a boat trip around the Harbour, alighting at Brownsea as one of the destinations. Poole Quay has cafes, bars, good restaurants, very good fish and chips from a quayside hut. It's a short stroll to Poole Old Town with its shops and further along to main Poole Shopping Centre. Very good local transport links to Bournemouth and suburbs. Infact easy to get anywhere like Swanage, Weymouth, Salisbury etc.
Second time I have stayed in this accomodation. Lovely house nice and clean, everything you need. Ideal location for 5 minutes walk to Poole quayside.
Staff very friendly when picking keys up, offering advice. Curteousy phone call from Ella to make sure everything was in order.
Much better than hotel, as you are literally home from home. Will definately return.
the hotel was in a great location with fantastic views. The staff were very friendly snd made us feel welcome, it was easy to get a drink/snack etc and the restaurants within the hotel were exceptional. Breakfast was also fabulous and cooked fresh with plenty of options. Overall we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend.
We had a very friendly welcome, our rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious and our breakfast was tasty with plenty of choice. The location of the hotel was right by the quay with beautiful views. Everyone at the hotel was very welcoming and friendly. Would definitely return when next in Poole.
Lovely location perfect for visiting family in poole.
Sandbanks Hotel was a little underwhelming to be honest.
Obviously an Economy room was how it was billed and economy room was exactly how it was presented.
Very dated and tired Hotel.
Staff were acceptable and whole experience was ok just!!!
Beautifully furnished top floor two bedroom apartment with floor to ceiling windows on corner of building offering a magnificent panoramic view around Poole Bay. Just a few minutes walk from the Quay via old quarter of Poole, steeped in interesting history.
The location is stunning, we booked sea view, with balcony which is the best rooms to have at this location. Room & bed both large & comfortable. Easy access to Swanage, Bournemouth & Poole. The food at the hotel is excellent if a little limited
our room 105 was comfortable with a lovely view looking out over Poole harbour. Hotel had a nice airy dining room/restaurant where my wife and I enjoyed an excellent well presented breakfast...all staff were welcoming and friendly.
Location was convenient with lovely views of the harbour . Although, sadly this will change when the new building in front of the property is completed.
Well keep property . Owner communicated well and very helpful.
Lovely clean property with parking. Nice walk along the coast to parks and Poole. Not huge but perfect for a couple and a dog. Everything provided in the kitchen and bathroom. Owner is delightful and helpful.
Really nice comfortable, clean hotel with friendly, helpful staff and a real bonus is allowing pets to stay.
Nice location right near Poole Quay and town centre, we would not hesitate to stay here again.
Everything thing. Beautiful room. Very clean and comfortable. Superb breakfast. Better than most hotels I have stayed in. Will definitely stay there again when I visit Poole. Highly recommend it.
A decent but doable walk to the main part of Poole. Walking from the hotel in the other direction takes you to the water which is also nice to do. Bathroom was a good size. Clean.
