Home from home feel. Hosts Julie and Mark are so friendly and welcoming. Nothing seems too much trouble. Even offered me the use of a pair of binoculars so I could clearly watch the peregrines on the abbey. Breakfast is cooked to order and is delicious.

Excellent location, as Evesham is a nice town with lovely countryside and the river nearby. There are several options for food from takeaways, basic cafes and restaurants and coffee shops. It is also a good location for travelling to other towns and National Trust properties.
Room 2 had apparently been recently refurbished to a high standard with a clean, comfortable bed etc., and a beautiful bathroom en-suite, with toiletries and a shower and roll-top bath.
The staff member who booked us in appeared helpful and willing but was not able to act independently without reference to management.
The town had a history dating back centuries and the pub was very old, though no mention of this or it’s history was given.
Waitrose nearby.

Pershore is a very sweet small town with a broad mix of shops and restaurants. It has a busy high street, a lot of traffic, but if you wander away from the main street to the Abbey and its grounds there is serenity and its very pretty. Walk down to the Bridges, with the Avon flowing under the bridge. The Avon river runs along the bottom of the town and worth a walk to look at the narrow boats. The Star is probably the best steak and chips place, and the Thai restaurant for something more spicy. Give it a go for a couple of days.......

We enjoyed walking around Pershore it has some lovely shops and an Abbey worth visiting.
It also is right on the river so had we had time and better weather we would have had a walk along the tow path.

Pershore is an absolute joy.
Pershore is an absolute joy.
We were fortunate enough to finally meet up with friends of my wife, Trudy, Andy and Pickles & Teddy the dogs, who were the very bests of hosts you could ever wish for - They showed us the real treasures of the area especially the glorious abbey in Pershore itself.
There is so much to see and do in a fabulous part of the country and if you are looking for somewhere special to eat or drink then The star Inn offers the very best of quality from Bruce the owner.
A real treasure in a busy world.

I didn’t have much time to see Pershore itself, but there was a written walk of places of interest in my accommodation, with photos, which I read, and I was only sorry that I didn’t have more time in Pershore itself.
Check-in was friendly and efficient. Our dinner was excellent, as was breakfast. The room we were allocated was very comfortable and bigger than expected. We loved the way the rooms all had their own names! The Nespresso coffee machine was greatly appreciated. The beautiful bath was especially luxurious! (though very slow to fill, which didn't really matter). We would definitely recommend this hotel to others. It is housed in a quirky old building with real character and has been beautifully renovated.
The price was very good for the location which was on the very edge of the main area of Pershaw town. The breakfast offered was a full English (well cooked) with tea or coffee and cereal and fruit juice before if wanted. The room was adequate but good for the price. The shower was powerful and the water very hot. The room was not noisy which we were pleased to find out. We ate in the restaurant and we though it very good; my husband thought his meal excellent.
Location fine, near to Pershore. Room available when we arrived. Bedding clean but very wrinkled. Dirty towels from previous occupant left in bathroom on back of door! Room okay but not spotless. Old with beams and restricted height. We ate the carvery meal as it was Sunday. This was excellent. Food served on hot plates, great variety of meat and vegs at a very good price. No breakfast available at the pub, but overall it was an okay stay for one night.
Mark and Julie are amazing! They were super friendly and welcomed us for our stay, and remembered our names the next day! Breakfast was great, and the room nice and clean with comfortable furnishings. Great shower! I regret we were only there for one night, and wish we had more time. Will absolutely come back if we're in the area again
Beautiful. Best place we stayed during our month long trip. The room was extremely clean, comfortable and well decorated. The common areas were also great. Wonderful view in the dining room. Truly picturesque. The owner was great. Let us use her kitchen, very helpful regarding places to eat, cooked a great breakfast, etc.
The hotel was very nice, the staff were exceptional. The breakfast was very good and well worth the money. The food overall is very good. The rooms we had were very good with plenty of space the bed was comfortable.this hotel is not to be missed it is a little gem.
There was plenty of choice for breakfast, with a cooked breakfast freshly prepared to my request. The room was wonderfully comfortable and I slept better than any hotel I've stayed in. The house is placed along a very quiet lane, in a beautiful country village.
This property is a hidden gem. Located within walking distance of Pershore high street but an amazing historic building in a tranquil setting with a romantic garden overlooking the Malverns! It delivers on every level and I will definitely be booking again.
Really lovely hotel in Pershore - reception by staff was fantastic and incredibly accommodating. We ate at the restaurant for dinner and breakfast, and the food was great. Very conveniently located as well for our weekend trip to the Abbey.
Excellent full English breakfast!
The hotel is an oasis of calm hospitality tucked away at the end of the village, beautifully decorated rooms in the annex we stayed, and so many touches of elegant decor and architecture throughout.
All the food was exceptional. Very tasty breakfast which was cooked to individual requirements. The room was spacious and included a seating and kitchen area. The en-suite was very large. The staff were very helpful and friendly
