Great location for visiting New forest and surrounding area. Very friendly staff and a really nice atmosphere, good to see a pub with plenty of customers. Food was very good on both the English & Nepalese menus. Room was large and had everything you would need. I would happily stop here again.

The location is great and the rooms very welcoming and comfortable. The food is excellent and goes well with the restaurant and bar setting. We were made to feel very welcome and looked after throughout our stay. We will be back! Now that crab quiche has to be a key reason for that return, alone!!

Only a 1-mile walk from the station. Perfect location for visiting the cathedral and the town centre but despite this it was quiet, no traffic disturbance, no noisy passers by. The restaurant was good. Bedroom and bathroom clean and comfortable. Friendly staff.
