*Great food - Local Thai / TJ's Restaurant / Grand Central / Henry's Bar (honorable mention to Scoffs - great for a cone of chips, but not that nice to sit in and eat)*
**Paignton Pleasure Cruises offer a great ferry service between Torquay and Brixham, calling at Paignton in both directions. Way nicer than a bus trip, only a pound more than the bus AND drops you off in arguably a better location in all 3 towns!**
+Go throw some axes at Leisure 2,000 - arcade setup. they're plastic (so it's safe, even after a drink)!+
**Players Cocktail Bar - great selection of cocktails, lovely staff, amazing place to watch the world pass by, but if people don't use the town will lose it unfortunately

Know Paignton very well as my parents have lived there for 25 years. Paignton is as lively as you want it to be. If you want noise & fun, its all there, but there are quieter spots aswell if thats preferable. Spoilt for choice with dining and drinking. Recently shut Lidl's, which is a shame as Paignton lacks a large supermarket.

Everyone was friendly in shops restaurants.
Everyone was friendly in shops restaurants. It was busy wherever we went but people were still friendly. Some places had already closed for the winter which shocked me as we aren't even at the end of September yet but there was still plenty of places to go to eat or drink.

Paignton is a beautiful holiday town.
Paignton is a beautiful holiday town. There is a great bus service to areas such as Brixham,
Torquay and more. Perfect for a family holiday. Henry's does the best pub food in the paignton and the best cafe is Chandlers.
Great value for money, very clean, all the amenities required, comfy beds, good size tv with all channels and loads of dvds if required.
Host was excellent and easily contactable and allowed early check in and late check out.
Hotel was a very short walk to the sea front and pier and 5 minutes from the Main Street (Torbay Road) in Paignton.
Will definitely use again on our next visit. Excellent!
It was a lovely stay, glad I upgraded to Sea view and balcony, it was brilliant, at night not only strings of coloured lights, also a blue laser light across the sky. The hosts were charming, the room , and en suite very clean, I have stayed at many different places in Paignton over the years. I would definitely return to the Beach 🏖️ Hotel 🏨.
Absolutely fantastic host of this fabulous B&B,so close to the beach & very close to the centre of Paignton - Breakfast was served by the awesome Jo & Cooked Superbly, with lots of choices too - I highly recommend you stay here when visiting Paignton & South Devon!!!!
Carl and Tace were such lovely hosts before & during our stay. They couldn’t do enough for us. The location could not have been better & the property was fab. Paignton needs more guest houses like this rather than bland chain hotels.
Friendly, courteous staff. Hotel is located in centre of Paignton on sea front. Room was clean but simply furnished. Small car park at front of hotel, entrance is not obvious. Happy to stay and fair value for money.
