The Inn is a little gem, situated in a beautiful location. All staff were very friendly and took time to make us feel very welcome. We ate in the bar area for dinner and the food was absolutely delicious. Breakfast was served in the restaurant and everything you could wish for was available. The rooms were beautifully furnished and very comfortable.

Great location for a break from mWay, super friendly and helpful staff, clean, comfortable. Even sorted me a packed lunch because I was leaving too early for breakfst; fantastic service. If I was going that way again, I wouldn’t hesitate to use it again. Strongly recommended.

Never having being there before we were pleasantly surprised to find it such a great place to visit. An excellent department store which is rare in small towns, an excellent deli which has every thing you never knew you needed or wanted and of course the famous Bettys Tea Rooms. All this as well as Pubs and various types of eateries. I would love to visit on a market day which is held on the High Street.

Beautiful Yorkshire market town.
Beautiful Yorkshire market town. Lots of interesting shops and a very vibrant street market on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Lewis & Cooper's, Barkers and of course the very famous Bettys are all worth a visit. Lots of places to eat including lush fish and chips a Yorkshire favourite.

We came for a Tribute band at the Forum Northallerton,
We were able to walk the 25 minute walk to the venue.
That was very good.
We also like visiting markets and they are dying out but Northallerton exceeded all those thoughts as it is massive and busy, really enjoyed that.
And we had a lovely walk of five miles from Osmotherly and the views were to die for, that was all in two nights stay.

Terrible location, isolated rural, right next to a very busy A19. No food or drinks available. Looks nothing like internet photos or descriptions. More 1 or 2 stars than 4. Unfriendly man in charge, nobody else staying. Magazines in room from 2020, maybe last time it was used. Cold space, no heating in bathroom, chalet not a room. Blocked toilet. Locked the gates at 5:15pm. Felt extremely uncomfortable and left after 30 minutes. Awful experience for a female travelling alone, but for anyone, do not consider.

Have passed through Northallerton many times, not realising what a gem it is. Thriving high street and a Wednesday and Saturday Market. Lots of lovely places to eat, an interesting church and a regular bus service to surrounding towns and villages. Don't miss Lewis and Cooper deli and cafe for local produce!
Charles and Chris were perfect hosts; were very welcoming and went out of their way to please. The property and accommodation has a relaxing historic quaintness. Room standard was very good and 10/10 comfortable. The breakfast menu offers an excellent choice, with the quality of cooking and presentation being perfect. Location in Northallerton is ideal for local amenities and an excellent base for North Yorkshire touring. Overall, Porch House was the ideal retreat from the busy world which we were escaping.
Good location to visit northallerton, Richmond and reeth , there is a pub just over the road where we were made welcome! The cottage itself was about the best we have stayed in, every fixture and fitting was of a very high standard and immaculate , a lot of thought has gone into the design and comfort of this cottage , we recommend the accommodation it is 100 % spot on ! We hope to stay again later in the year !
The food was excellent and although our room was in a separate building it was next door so it wasn’t a problem. There were some nice touches like a communal fridge on the landing with orange juice and water for guests plus spare umbrellas by the front door. The decor was original and thoughtful. The village was peaceful and only a mile from the A1 so a perfect pit stop for us on our way to Scotland
fThe staff very good everything was Good we was in a situation where been in a Motorway hold up 4hrs an informed we would be late. When we arrived welcomed by the staff went the extra mile. Our Son an Partner in another hotel in Town centre which he booked was locked up an left no key or message? Allerton Court came to the rescue an found a room this was 11pm in the evening. So grateful. for help.
The Barn was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Proximity to Northallerton was good, you can walk if necessary. A peaceful and tranquil location and the host Cliff was extremely friendly and informative on the local area and places to eat. Cliff provided a very generous welcome hamper of Cava, chocolates, coffee and biscuits which we enjoyed!
The hotel has a lovely traditional feel n the best way. Staff were genuinely friendly and courteous, and seemed happy and positive in their work. The room was comfortable and well equipped and appointed and cosy. It is feels in no way like a soulless corporate hotel and that is such a relief and to its credit
Spotless. Comfortable. Plenty of easy parking. Excellent beer!! (Hand-pulled Timothy Taylors was a perfect pint.) If you are a fan of "The Yorkshire Vet" this area is for you. Julian, Peter and all the team are only a few minutes down the road. Spectacular scenery is almost on the doorstep.
A friendly welcome, super clean room, nice food reasonably priced (I enjoyed both dinner and breakfast). The Inn is located in a lovely area of North Yorkshire with great access to the Dales and the Coast. The rooms are in a modern annexe of the main building.
The property is in a very pretty village and we were able to walk up the road and onto the Cleveland way for a good walk.
It was also very convenient for visiting a friend in Northallerton which was the main reason for our trip north.
Center of the Northallerton town is perfect. Private car parking is great. Buffet style Breakfast was very plentiful and fantastic. £10 each per person seems steep but you can keep going back for more and more until you've had enough.
Very comfortable bed, excellent meal and first class service. Ideally placed for visiting North Yorkshire, just 2-3 miles outside of Northallerton. Have stayed many times and as expected, high standard maintained.
Spacious room, good walk in shower. Good bar. Lovely staff. Hotel has a separate entrance from the bar. Limited onsite car parking not really an issue as sister hotel has large car park only 50 metres away.
The accommodation was first class , we was made to feel welcome . Our hosts were friendly and the breakfast spot on . It's a good base to visit the attractions around this area
Bedroom had some very thoughtful touches such as a mending kit. Bedroom was clean and quiet as it was one of three at the back of the property with a terrace area.
