Room was spacious, location was ideal with pleasant outlook onto the river. Restaurant had beautiful view of the river although noise carried considerably as it was so busy. Food was excellent.

Location was beautiful. Very quiet indeed. Pleasant welcome upon check in. The room was attractive and bed very comfortable indeed. The shower was lovely with plenty of hot water. Bathroom products were very nice too with shower/conditioner/soap/hand soap on offer. There were tea/coffee facilities in the room. Bedding was nice quality and we slept very well indeed. The meal in the clubhouse was very tasty and reasonably priced. Breakfast was good too with a nice selection of options on the menu. Cooked breakfast looked very nice and I had the eggs royale which were delicious. The restaurant staff very kindly brought us a glass of prosecco as it was our anniversary weekend, which was very much appreciated. Note - the clubhouse where restaurant/breakfast is served is a short walk out of the main hotel building. I see some people were disconcerted about this, but it is very well paved and lit and probably a hundred yards at most. Sadly, we didn't use the spa facilities, but I did have a nose and the spa looked and smelt divine. Next time!
