The house was very clean. There was a sheet of paper with local information on it, which was helpful. There was milk in the fridge, which was much appreciated! The hosts made sure we were aware we could call or message with any problems or queries. The house is in a lovely area, very quiet, with a co-op just down the road.

Beautiful room in a tranquil location. Lovely bath and very comfortable bed. Sadly the restaurant wasn’t open in the evening but the haddock for breakfast was the best I’ve had!

Cheery, well-designed, basic but efficient, newly decorated and spotless rooms. Sue is so welcoming, friendly, and helpful - a delight. Arriving after dark you may need to go to the house, behind the tackle shop.

Excellent place to stay.
Excellent place to stay. Bed and breakfast is in the centre of the village. Clean comfortable and spacious.
We were visiting our son a few miles away so location was great. We had a meal in the local pub which was very good well cooked and value for money. (Axe and Cleaver). It is advisable to book at weekends. All in all a great stay and would certainly return.

I visited four years ago and was surprised to find even after Covid the village seemed to have more facilities and shops now than then. There are a few take-aways and a couple of pubs in the village. You need your own transport. No beaches within walking distance.

No facilities, maybe nice up to August / September but after that, I would go elsewhere. No where does hot food in the evenings despite travelling around and yet all the pubs have boards saying hot food. I understand it is out of tourist season but overall... very poor.

Our visit was to explore Lincolnshire for house hunting, a previously un known area. For these purposes the location was excellent as were particularly interested in the coast. A good starting point for the coast but not far from the Wolds and the attractive town of Louth. Small shops and pubs nearby and very friendly locals. Nearest accessible beaches are further south but interesting birdlife on the marshes. Not sure if would be sufficient interest for young children.
