Nice large room overlooking the park. Lovely clean and fresh bathroom. Good hearty breakfast. Mattresses maybe a little tired? Nice and central for Buxton where there is plenty to see and do.

Our stay at Black Lion Inn was exceptional! It was a great location for walks and the menu for dinner and breakfast was incredible. It’s hard to find a place like this anymore and at an affordable price. The staff were very helpful throughout and we wish we could have stayed longer.
