A warm welcome awaited me. The room was much larger than expected very well laid out and comfortable. The owners offered helpful advice and directed me to a great walk to the beach and harbour. Great cooked breakfast...lovely staff.

Nothing. This stay was mis sold and we refused to stay. It is still unclear whether we will receive a refund. We believed we would be staying at Newton Hall whereas we were allocated a prefab cabin in a field next to the hall. The interior was badly finished plywood that was badly painted, stained, and starting to delaminate. The terrace /garden view was over exaggerated and breakfast was either a warm sandwich in the room or a trip to a local pub. When complaining to the duty manager his attitude was defensive and poor and there was little evident concern for customer service.when I booked online the only picture that was accessible was of a room in the hotel(either deliberately or through server error) This site of poor quality cabins is only loosely associated with the hotel and pictures of the hotel should not be used to sell these inferior shabby little huts. This experience has severely dented my confidence in using booking.com in the future.

Stayed for two nights with my sister for her birthday. We both said it was perfect! Fabulous location! Very nice and perfect size for two! Very clean! Good facilities! Kettle to make tea, coffee and hot chocolate and kindly had biscuits and chocolate! Small fridge in room with water and can keep bits in. Great size tv, good cupboard space. Nice size bathroom! Very nice shower. Suzanne host was lovely, quick to answer any questions! Definitely recommend and would stay again, thank you!
