We only and bed and breakfast, breakfast was lovely and room very comfortable and adequate for what we needed. The manager was an elder gentleman and a gentleman he was.

The room was excellent, luxurious and clean and fresh. The bath in particular was brilliant! Biggest bath I’ve ever been in. The staff member who greeted me was warm and friendly and there was an excellent four legged staff member who was very enthusiastic about their role!

So very welcoming. Jackie, the host, couldn’t do more for us. Lovely old building with quirky floors and 500 years of history. No rooms on the ground floor and no lift, but wasn’t a problem even though my husband walks with a stick.
Self serve continental breakfast and if there was anything we required, Jackie would oblige our requests as best she could.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Bressingham Hall for five unforgettable days. Our primary reason for choosing this venue was to celebrate our wedding, and it turned out to be the perfect choice.
From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the beauty of the house. Bressingham Hall is a stunning property that combines historical charm with modern comfort. The spaciousness of the house was ideal for our large family, providing ample room for everyone to relax and enjoy.
The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly our wedding. The setting could not have been more perfect. The beautifully maintained gardens provided a picturesque backdrop for our ceremony and reception, making it truly feel like a dream wedding. The vibrant flowers and lush greenery added a touch of magic to our special day.
Beyond the wedding, the days we spent at Bressingham Hall were filled with joy and relaxation. The amenities were excellent, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. Whether we were exploring the gardens, enjoying the cozy interiors, or simply spending time together as a family, every moment was memorable.
Overall, Bressingham Hall exceeded our expectations in every way. It provided a perfect blend of elegance, comfort, and natural beauty. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue for our wedding, and we are grateful for the wonderful memories we created there. We highly recommend Bressingham Hall to anyone looking for an extraordinary place to celebrate a special occasion or simply enjoy a serene getaway.

The pub, restaurant, staff were very good, cheerful and helpful. Food very good, tasty, well prepared, breakfasts excellent, ordered for set time the previous night, FRESHLY cooked and hot served at that time. Not from a Bain Marie! Great choice!
Room very nice, comfortable.
Outside tables under room windows (Opened because of heat) makes rooms VERY noisy. Vaping smoke and odour rising through windows along with smoking. Worse a s people smoked more, got more intoxicated, louder.
As an ex publican, I would move the smoking area to the grass garden at the back of the pub away from the rooms, and where people wish to eat meals outside - al fresco!

Literally nothing to do in the area.
Literally nothing to do in the area. There is the hotel, a tea room and a local shop. Even driving out there was nothing to do or visit until we reached Snetterton race circuit. So, the area is more of a residential area than a holiday/break destination. It is very quiet.

New Buckenham is a little village with a small shop, tea room and a pub. It is a typical village with plenty of parking close to the pub, which was our chosen place to stay. We had intended to take a stroll around the village but after a full day out and about each day, never found the time.
Although I describe the shop as small it is actually a tardis, with just about anything you may want to buy in it. They take cards so payment will never be an issue.
The pub is excellent with plenty of space inside and outside, along with a restaurant. They serve excellent food every day except Monday when they are closed. Sunday roast is well worth booking in for and enjoying.
New Buckingham is situated for visiting pretty much anywhere in Norfolk and beyond. I know this as we went out and about every day, without driving mad distances.

I only used it as a base for my three days at Snetterton race track.
The streets are a little narrow, parking is where you can find a space.
The Kings Head has a very good menu and very good accommodation.
From what I saw of the village it is very old and has some nice old houses and a very large church.
